My experience with this Mazda dealership has been extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, it has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Not only am I paying a higher mon extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, it has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Not only am I paying a higher monthly payment than expected, but the dealership also lost my license plate. This is a very serious issue that reflects poorly on the dealership's organization, professionalism, and the competence of its employees. Because of their mistake, I had to handle all the legal procedures myself to report and suspend the lost plate. This situation was entirely their responsibility, yet I was the one forced to spend my time dealing with the consequences. To make matters worse, I have sent multiple messages to several employees at this dealership and have never received a response. I have also tried repeatedly to reach the manager, but no one has bothered to contact me or provide any meaningful assistance. Today, more than 20 days after purchasing my vehicle, I still have not received a replacement license plate, and several other urgent and important issues remain unresolved. This level of customer service is unacceptable. I expected much more from a Mazda dealership, but instead I have been met with negligence, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this dealership. If you are considering buying or leasing a vehicle here, I strongly encourage you to take your business elsewhere. You deserve a dealership that values its customers, communicates honestly, and takes responsibility for its mistakes. More

I want to share my recent experience with Southern Palms Mazda as a cautionary tale for anyone considering doing business with the dealership. I recently decided to explore options for exiting my wife’s Mazda as a cautionary tale for anyone considering doing business with the dealership. I recently decided to explore options for exiting my wife’s 2024 Mazda CX-5 lease early. The vehicle is only two years old, has very low mileage, has always been garage-kept, and is in excellent condition with no scratches or dents—in other words, what the car business would call “front-line ready.” After doing my homework and obtaining several offers, I contacted Southern Palms Mazda, believing that, as a Mazda dealership, they might place a premium on acquiring one of their own vehicles. Over the course of the previous week, my wife and I had received multiple calls from the dealership as part of what appeared to be an “equity mining” campaign designed to move existing customers into new vehicles. I called to inquire for their quote. I spoke with Gabriella Castilla and explained my situation. She enthusiastically responded, “Come in—we need your car.” After hearing the details, she specifically offered me $27,000 for the vehicle, saying that if the car was as described, we had a deal. Before agreeing to come in, I made it very clear that I did not want to waste my time playing games. The same evening, I visited the dealership, where Robert Nelson, the Customer Experience Manager, was expecting me. I handed over the keys for an inspection and waited for the appraisal results. Robert returned and informed me that the dealership would only offer $26,500. I immediately explained that this was not the offer Gabriella had made and reiterated that the vehicle was exactly as represented. I asked to speak with the used car manager to understand why the offer had changed by $500. Unfortunately, the manager, Fabio, declined to meet with me directly. Robert—who handled the situation professionally and was not responsible for the original commitment—called Gabriella on her cell phone, as she had already left for the day. Gabriella’s response was disappointing. She stated that if the used car manager had lowered the offer, there was nothing she could do. In my view, she either misrepresented the dealership’s intentions or made promises she did not have the authority to keep. This was my third Mazda lease and, regrettably, it will be my last. I understand that vehicle values can change after an in-person inspection, but when a customer is assured of a specific number based on a detailed description of a vehicle, that commitment should be honored—or at the very least, explained by management face-to-face. The issue here is not the $500 difference. It is the principle. Customers deserve honesty, transparency, and respect for their time. I intend to share my experience with the dealership group Automotive Management Services Inc.and Mazda corporate, as I believe consumers should be aware of how this situation was handled. Buyer beware before doing business with Southern Palms Mazda. More

I went to Southern Palms Mazda with little hope of getting a vehicle because I only had a fair credit rating, and no downtime payment. I did have a loan from another bank for $6,500 and a 2009 Nissan getting a vehicle because I only had a fair credit rating, and no downtime payment. I did have a loan from another bank for $6,500 and a 2009 Nissan Altima, valued at most for $1,500. In short, I was searching for a Unicorn. I then met Mr. ROBERT NELSON, their salesman with over 25 years of experience selling cars. From the beginning, I knew he was sincere; when we were discussing the vehicle I was interested in acquiring, my AI was on,listening, and confirmed that ROBERT was correct and honest about everything he stated. He presented a 2021 Hyundai Tucson SE in mint condition with low mileage. I must add that their Finance Officer, Eli, who has an MBA in Finance, found ways to bring down the numbers to make the deal affordable for me; I'm on a fixed social security income. He added some extra perks to make it even more affordable. I didn't need the loan from the other bank since Eli gave me a better rate. One last note, their Insurance Broker, Javier found me a quote better than my carrier of 12 years. Their manager is one of the best who approved it all. Together, they're a great team that made my day! I give them 5 stars. Thank you all at Southern Mazda. You're the best! 🏆 Edwin Rivera More

I purchased a 2024 Mazda CX5 from Southern Palms Mazda on December 27, 2025. At the time of purchase the finance representative sold me a service contract and a tire protection warranty. On December 30, 2025 December 27, 2025. At the time of purchase the finance representative sold me a service contract and a tire protection warranty. On December 30, 2025, I retuned to the dealership and canceled both warranties. The paper I signed acknowledging the cancellation stated I would receive the refund as a credit to my auto loan. As of today, April 15, 2026, I have not received the refund. I have spoke to the manager multiple times in person and by phone and email throughout January and March and have been repeatedly assured me that I would receive the refund as it would be “unlawful” for the dealership not to do so. Both warranties were canceled and I made no claims against either warranty. The last time I spoke with the dealership was April 7 when I was told the check would be cut a.s.a.p. And I would get a call when it was sent out. No call or check as of today. Fifteen weeks and counting. Buyer beware. More
