Purchased a new car from Chris My buying experience with Chris Britt and Southern States was very good. My fiancé and I came into the dealership open to a used or new SUV. We explained used/new SUV and our price range of 15k-18k, which was a perfect world number, but we knew for a new vehicle we would be paying more. We first test drove a used Santa Fe, which we liked, but weren't in love with. In an attempt to keep within our budget we looked at a new Tucson next. We then compared this to a new Santa Fe. We test drove both vehicles and determined that the new Santa Fe was the best fit. Throughout every test drive Chris was professional, pleasant, and just the right amount of conversational. While the dealership wasn't booming like Saturdays can sometimes be, there were still ample customers and at no point did Chris try to rush us. After negotiation we met with Alex, the finance manager, and while we weren't able to obtain the rate anticipated with my credit rating, Alex did his best and explained everything clearly. Upon driving off the lot with the new car, Chris informed me that this was the first car driven off the lot for him since returning to car sales. This made the car buying experience unique and memorable (likely for both of us). In the end I can confidently say Chris did excellent to gain our trust and was very pleasant to deal with. The same can be said of Alex. Chris did a great job of turning tire kickers into new car owners without feeling pressured to do so. More
