I was in a bad situation with my 2018 Mazda3 needing $8100 in repairs to the engine. Realizing I needed to consider buying a new car, Brandy helped me explore the options they had available. She listened to what I wanted and identified options they had available that would suit my needs, gave me space and freedom to think, ask questions, and test drive vehicles. She was very personable and connected with me on a human level asking about my life and sharing things about her own life, which made her feel relatable and comfortable to work with. Her manager, Patrick, was also kind, agreeing to pay for my outstanding service fee on my Mazda3 with the Service Department to help ease the blow of needing to buy a new vehicle unexpectedly. He also came by to personally thank me for purchasing from them. Garland in the finance department was very personable as well. He was very patient going over the documents I needed to execute. He never felt too aggressive trying to sell additional services to me and he never tried to make me feel guilty or incompetent for declining additional services. Finally, Brandy was very thoughtful and patient with me as I was feeling very emotional cleaning out my Mazda3 and letting it go. Overall, I want to thank the Southern States Mazda team for making a not great situation for me feel okay and bearable to get through. More
