The service department rotated my tires but did not check the air in each tire after rotating. My air light came on as I drove no less than 5 miles from the dealership. I only service my vehicle at this dealership. Although the service level is not up to par I stay loyal but am very disappointed each time my car is serviced. More
I was originally told the repair would take 4-5 hours but I did not get my car back for three days. I had to keep asking when it would be done and I feel the service representatives should keep the customer I did not get my car back for three days. Southern Volkswagon was easy to schedule with. I dropped my son's car off the night before and it was ready early the next day. IF I could leave 0 Stars I would. This place should be avoided at ALL costs. ANDREW SMITHSON oversaw a State Inspection over my car and he and despite my car passing the inspection, t This place should be avoided at ALL costs. ANDREW SMITHSON oversaw a State Inspection over my car and he and despite my car passing the inspection, the brake calipers were not put back on the car properly and the Knock Sensor was "loose" which caused my engine light to come on days after leaving. Then when I called to have the car towed, they gave me the run around and essentially had my car disabled for almost a week. To make matters worse ANDREW denied hearing any dragging noise, which literally happens everytime the wheels move yet he told me he "couldn't reproduce it". I took my car to Pep Boys to get brake pads and he confirmed to me that the Calipers weren't on properly which caused them to grind against the rotors. I had to get Rotors AND calipers thanks to these crooks which cost me $1k for something that should've never occurred from a STATE Inspection. STAY AWAY FROM SOUTHERN AUTO GROUPS. Take your money elsewhere and don't give them any of your money. I nor anyone I know will be buying from them anymore. More
The services department price gouges to the point of fraud!!! I had a small plastics piece come off of my car and requested a quote for the part and labor. In 1 minute in the waiting area I found the exact part on Carparts.com for 44.95 and my husband placed it with no tools. This type of markup and price gouging is disgusting, deplorable and the reason why the auto service industry is one of the Most mistrusted. I will never go her again. I plan on sharing my experience with everyone in the NAVY stationed in Hampton Roads More
