When you do someone comes on the line and frankly they have you on hold so much because they can't really answer any questions themselves. Then they set you up an appointment and tell you they will see you when you get there. Then, you get there expecting someone you've given all this info to only to find out there at the call center somewhere else. Now if your like my wife and I, buying a car is already stressful and it shouldn't be multiplied by a call center operator. That's a very bad business model and you really should rethink that portion of the customer experience. Now the good news! Our experience at Rockwall Kia was wonderfull. I wish I could remember the sales managers name but he was great. Our salesman, Jim Johnson was really really great. Not omly did he set us at ease from the beginning, he was also very knowledgeable (and patient) throughout the process. He searched for the car we wanted and also went to Ft. Worth and drove it back so we could take it home tgat night! It was amazing. Sheldon in finance was a hoot! It was as painless a process as I have ever had financing a vehicle. Everyone was so nice at Rockwall Kia it was really great! More

Best Buying Experience EVER! I have bought many new cars and I can honestly say that buying my car at Southwest Kia Rockwall was by far the best overall experience I have ever had I have bought many new cars and I can honestly say that buying my car at Southwest Kia Rockwall was by far the best overall experience I have ever had. My salesman (Austin Orthman) was down to earth and extremely personable. He made me feel comfortable from the get-go. He helped me pick the right car and I truly mean it, he helped-not pressured. Austin is phenomenal. I will HIGHLY recommend this dealership and Austin Orthman specifically to anyone I know who might be looking for a car. Also, the finance person was amazing. The experience of shopping at Kia Years ago I went to Kia looking for a car and when I walked into the door I was greeted and and I walked out with a car. And today the same experience exists and the people there are so polite and courteous and they bust their butts to get things accomplished. I am now a loyal Kia man and will always go to this location for cars because I like the way the people are and the job that they do and I was suppose to see someone else and they were out sick but I was set up with Austin by Bailee and Austin did everything he could to make me happy and also Andrew worked with me and was very polite and honest. And I know there are names that I don't remember who was also nice. and I loved it that many remembered me from the past and that adds to the joy of shopping at Kia. Thanks to all. Paul smith More

Jim Johnson at Southwest Kia came out to greet me and let me take a spin in a new Stinger. I had researched car buying apps, read reviews, watched videos, and I was ready to sit in it and see how it “fit” me. Jim was thorough with his explanations, never making me feel pressured or naive. He was kind and patient. We immediately established a great rapport, and I felt totally comfortable extending trust. He knows his cars, he knows people, he’s emotionally intelligent and reads people well. I never felt this was just a purchase...I made a friend, and I left this location feeling blessed. Surprising find I tip my hat to the entire team at Southwest KIA of Rockwall. Came in yesterday after seeing that they had a truck I wanted to look at and met Jim, wh I tip my hat to the entire team at Southwest KIA of Rockwall. Came in yesterday after seeing that they had a truck I wanted to look at and met Jim, who told me that this particular vehicle was at a body shop close to Dallas and would be back tomorrow. He offered to bring the truck to me for a test drive, since I live nowhere near Rockwall. After talking to him for a bit, he brought out another truck for me to look at which we test drove to the body shop to see the one I originally planned to check out. As it sometimes goes, I was disappointed in the truck i had seen online, but found myself liking the one Jim showed me more and more. Cars and trucks are are something I’m pretty passionate about and know very well. I came to this dealership with a clear picture of what i wanted and was unwilling to compromise on that. Surprisingly, I found something better. Unfortunately, the truck was more expensive than what I planned to spend. Both Jim and the financial team worked tirelessly with me to come to a compromise I was able to make, answering every question, checking, and rechecking, the whole 9 yards! They really took care of me and I will definitely be doing business with them again in the future. More
Awesome and frustrating Purchasing a new vehicle could be exhilarating and frustrating. My wife and I had an awesome experience dealing with the front end representative, Ji Purchasing a new vehicle could be exhilarating and frustrating. My wife and I had an awesome experience dealing with the front end representative, Jim Johnson. Jim was courteous and helpful. He went out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant experience in purchasing our new vehicle. The frustrating part was when we were sent to the finance specialist, Bill Colburn. From the very begging of your conversation with Mr. Colburn, I indicated that I did not want to purchase any additional services or warranties. He kept pressuring us to purchase an additional warranty. After all was said and done, he asked us to sign and initial all documents pertaining to our purchase. At no point did Mr. Colburn explain in detail the items that we were signing. When I got home, I went over the paperwork and I realized that I had purchased an additional warranty that cost over $3.000.00. As a result, the amount financed increased by close to $3.500.00. I take some responsibility for not reading all of the paperwork he was asking us to sign. However, I feel we should have been explained in detail the total charges, I.E. amount of the loan, amount of the tax and tile, amount of the additional purchases, etc. etc. Had this been explained to us, I would have declined the amount of the additional warranty prior to leaving the dealership. As a result, my wife and I had to go back the next day and dispute the additional charges added to our loan. We were able to sign a cancellation form; however, they indicted it would take 90 days to deduct said charges. They also advised that our monthly payment would not change even though the amount financed would decrease. I do appreciate the fact that they were able to assist us in canceling the policy, however, I am being penalized for having to wait 90 days and possible having the same monthly payment when my payments would have been less from the onset of the purchase. I was hoping that this time would be different and that when I would tell the associate that I only wanted to finance the amount agreed upon and that I had no intentions of purchasing any additional warranties, my request would have been heard and my decision would have been respected. More
