Southwest Kia of Rockwall uses deceptive online advertising to lure people into their dealership. Make sure you go to the bottom of all of their web pages and read the very fine print before wasti advertising to lure people into their dealership. What they do to make their pricing more attractive is they deduct a "special discount" and the factory rebates from the MSRP and then display this price as "your price". When you get to the dealer, you will find that the "special discount" is actually the purposeful removal of all of the "dealer adds" features to make the price appear to be more attractive. Once you sit down to discuss numbers, they add back all of the dollars that were removed online as their "special discount" leaving only the factory rebate. It's a scam. If you are entertaining a car from this dealer, go in with the "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" mindset. More
This was the BEST car buying experience that I have ever had with any dealership. Russell was very helpful in guiding me in the whole "buying out of state" process and Juan was great when we actually got to had with any dealership. This must have been the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in the door, Paula Lovejoy, had the answers before I could formulate the questions. I've never purchased or considered purchasing a Kia before I visited Southwest KIA of Rockwall, but because of how friendly and knowledgeable the sales/internet staff is, I've now purchased two cars fr before I visited Southwest KIA of Rockwall, but because of how friendly and knowledgeable the sales/internet staff is, I've now purchased two cars from them and it has been a great all around experience. Before them, I've NEVER purchased two cars from the same dealership because of how much of a headache, lengthy, and exhausting it can be. Southwest Kia has been easy to deal with and I didn't have to take some aspirin when I get home. Kia has turned out to be one of my favorite brands of cars. I have yet to have any issues with either cars I've purchased and I love how much technology and fun you get for the price. The styling is also superb in my opinion. When I'm ready to purchase another vehicle, Southwest KIA of Rockwall will be my first choice. More

My husband and I visited Southwest Kia in Rockwall to purchase a used car for our 18 year old daughter. We found a great vehicle online and were ready to purchase. Financing was already in place with o purchase a used car for our 18 year old daughter. We found a great vehicle online and were ready to purchase. Financing was already in place with our local credit union as we've always done in the past when purchasing new vehicles for my husband and/or myself. When we arrived, the sales person wasn't sure if the car was still available or not and it took some time for them to locate the key. They finally located the key and we test drove the car and decided it's the perfect car for our daughter. We sat down with the sales person and then found out the internet price is NOT the actual price of the car. They add a $795 "documentation fee" to the price listed on the internet. We didn't like or agree with the additional fee however it was not a deal breaker at that point. My husband decided to make them an offer since we really weren't planning to finance with them anyway. All they have to do is send the paperwork to our credit union and have the car ready when we pick it up. Sounds easy enough! It's always been that easy for us in the past. Long story short, the sales person talked with her manager and returned to advise us that we would HAVE to finance the car with them to even get the internet price and they would waive approximately $250 of the "documentation fee". However, if we want to finance the car with our credit union, the price of the car increases approximately $3500. REALLY? How does the price increase when you are at the dealership to purchase a car, financing is in place and you don't have a trade in? It's a simple clean purchase transaction. At this point, we decided to walk away from the dealership because of the inconsistency and misrepresentation. I am very disappointment in the whole experience because the vehicle really is perfect for my daughter! I will not recommend this dealership to anyone and will make sure our friends and family know about our experience. We will continue our car shopping elsewhere. More
When I arrived on March 7th, the people there greeted me and made me feel very welcomed. Teresa Toombs and all the other people I came in contact with were very helpful. Teresa was great!!! There was no pressure to purchase the vehicIe like there was when I visited another Kia dealership a few days before going to Southwest Kia. I did purchase a Kia Rio 5. theresa and erica were both terrific. the yes/no guys behind the desks made theresa come to them about 5 times AND i had to get a competitor's offer from huffines before they ok'd the deal. in the end, behind the desks made theresa come to them about 5 times AND i had to get a competitor's offer from huffines before they ok'd the deal. in the end, they worked with me despite the negative equity i had, i got the heated seats that i needed for my sciatica pain (thank you, they really help), and i got a great apr as well. despite having to really work for it, i got a great deal, a terrific car (the optima ex), erica was awesome explaining the ins and outs of the final deal, and theresa really stuck it out even answering texts on her days off when i was spazzing about the deal. thanks to those ladies, i got a great deal on a really nice car that i hope will last the entire 6 years of my payments!!! THEN i will know for sure that kia is a great product for the money. i would definitely see theresa (my salesperson) again for another deal! More
