Best Car Buying experience ever!!!! Who knew that car buying could be an easy process? I had much anxiety before visiting Space Coast Honda. I had spent the previous day at a competitors show room getting the run around. 7 hours of my life that I can never get back. It was New Years Day and it was rainy and cold. I went in to just get info on Honda’s because I really never considered them in my initial search for a new vehicle. We were greeted promptly by Daniel and I explained that I just needed info on either a Civic or an Accord. He sat me down and asked basic questions about what kind of vehicle I was currently in etc. We determined that the Accord would fit me best. He pulled up 2 potential Accords. One was a 2018 and the other was 2017. The 2017 was considered pre-owned and I honestly never considered buying a pre-owned vehicle as I’ve always been the sole owner of my previous cars. The price on the 2017 was really attractive and I liked the body style and interior better than the 2018 Accord. I was looking for reliability and affordability. It was at this moment I realized that no one was being pushy trying to get me to commit to running credit etc. It was truly a laid back experience. After we ran number scenarios on paper was when I said let’s do this. It took a few hours but I felt like I made the best decision visiting this dealership. Will in the finance department was great as well. He thoroughly explained everything to me. There weren’t any scare tactics or bullying like I had experienced the day previously at a different dealership. I would highly recommend buying from this dealership and from Daniel! More
okay as used car places go....make what you will of that. Me; "The "hybrid" decals on the sides and back of this Prius are missing...there are just holes where they should be...." WORST EXPERIENCE EVER Worst buy experience ever. I purchase a used car advertised as "Certified Pre Owned" from this dealership. The next morning, less than 12 hours after Worst buy experience ever. I purchase a used car advertised as "Certified Pre Owned" from this dealership. The next morning, less than 12 hours after I drove the car home, it wouldn't start. A flood of error messages appeared on the dashboard warning against all types of system error. I had to call in to work because of the issue and struggled to get the car to start. After it finally did, I drove it an hour and half back to the dealership. Distraught with the experience, I asked he finance person I worked with the next before to speak to a manager. He came back and told me that, "No, he doesn't want to see you. He is not interested". THAT IS A QUOTE. The few people I came in contact with ridiculed me for even being upset at the situation. The service department worked for about half day on the car and somehow fixed it. I sat in the waiting room for at least an hour after the car was done before knowing that I can leave. No one apologized for any of these problems. I was treated terribly. I asked the mechanic to provide me with a list of work that he did on the car, I was given a piece of handwritten note that I cannot read. To top the experience, a few weeks after the purchase, I received a letter in the mail addressed from Space Coast Honda saying that my loan application was declined, when I NEVER APPLIED FOR CREDIT WITH THE DEALERSHIP. I financed through my own bank and all the paperwork was completed smoothly and the dealership was aware of the process every step of the way. I called the dealership asking for the finance person I worked with to inquire of the issue, and he was not in the few times I called, so the receptionists asked me for the reason of my call. I explained the situation, and apparently, both receptionists I spoke to at different times were aware of the issue. Apparently, I was not the only customer affected. They told me that all customers who purchased a car during a certain time received that letter. I was told that it's a standard procedure and that the dealership's bank automatically send out a letter of denial of credit when the customers finance through their own bank. I would have believed this lie, except that the letter I received had my credit score on it (which was well north of 800, by the way). This means that they PULLED MY CREDIT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!! If any of these doesn't sound like the experience you would like to have, I encourage you to stay away from this horrible dealership. I've been a Honda owner for more than 15 years and love the vehicles, but the purchase experience was undoubtedly the worst I have ever had. I kept the handwritten note, letters and other records that I have and encourage the dealership to fact-check my statement. More
