Wow Space Coast Honda (SCH) Service Center is messed up. We bought a used 2014 Honda Accord from elsewhere and knew there were a few issues. One day we go in to SCH to get four lug nuts (the locked ones) re We bought a used 2014 Honda Accord from elsewhere and knew there were a few issues. One day we go in to SCH to get four lug nuts (the locked ones) removed due to the key lock being broken and had new lug nuts (we already had the new lug nuts) put on. They were great and didn’t charge us but said come back for service. About five days later we did go in for service and what a huge mistake that was. The Accord needed transmission, coolant and brake fluids service (drain/bleed/replace) and an all wheel alignment. There were also two warning lights (front collision and lane departure warnings) on and only asked for an estimate because our personal mechanic said it was likely a camera issue that needed to be replaced and could cost up to $2,000. A little later the service rep called and said the engine filter needed to be replaced, a tuneup done and the camera needed to be replaced for $1,400. I approved the filter and tuneup based on the cost and said no to the camera. The car was dropped off at 7:30 am and I hadn’t heard from the rep so at 2:30 pm I called. He said the tuneup wasn’t finished yet and he would call when ready. He never called and they close at 6:00 pm so we decided to head over to get there by 5:00 pm. While waiting, my son decided to look for the car and found it and said the headlights were on. The rep didn’t get with us for a while so we track him down to find out what was going on. He went inside and came back out and apologized stating that he was super busy today and the tuneup wasn’t done since they didn’t have spark plugs in stock. Really? Anyway, he got our paperwork together and when checking out I asked why the tuneup was on the invoice. He said you’ll pay in advance and can come back tomorrow to get it done. I said no way I’m paying for this service in advance and he stated but you authorized it and we special ordered the spark plugs for overnight shipment. I said yes I authorized it to be done today and you said the tuneup wasn’t finished yet at 2:30 pm and now you want me to pay in advance. He said he would have to get a manager to take it off the invoice so I said get the manager. About 10 minutes later the cashier said the new invoice was ready for payment without the tuneup charges. Now we go to get the car and the service rep asked if our car was the blue Honda Odyssey sitting in the pickup area! He had no idea where the car was so my son went back to where he saw it about 45 minutes earlier and said it was sitting there running which is probably why the lights were on. The rep pulls up in the correct car and starts explaining the encasement around the rearview mirror where the camera for the warning indicators are was superglued to the window and the mechanic broke it into four pieces and we would need a new front window and should claim under insurance and kept going on about a lot of xx. I thought I would lose my mind and told the rep I didn’t bring the car in for your mechanics to break things. I told him we needed to leave before I did go off on him even though I know it was the so called mechanics fault. Bottom line do NOT use SCH for service. More

Frustrated with Misdiagnosis and Extra CostsReview:“My wife and I had a frustrating experience with this Honda dealership. The battery light on our vehicle kept coming on and off while she was driving. We wife and I had a frustrating experience with this Honda dealership. The battery light on our vehicle kept coming on and off while she was driving. We took it in, and they ran a diagnostic, saying they weren’t sure if it was the alternator but found oil leaking onto it. They claimed the alternator was fine but suggested the belt tensioner might be slipping, causing the issue. After spending $2,500 on repairs, I got the car back, and the battery light came on again—then went off. To test it, I had my wife turn on all accessories (seat heaters, AC on high), and the light came back on. When she turned everything off, it went off again—clearly a sign of a failing charging system, likely the alternator. I’m upset Honda didn’t properly troubleshoot this the first time. We had to bring it back, costing another $1,000 to finally fix what should’ve been caught initially. Their ‘guess and check’ approach wasted my time and money—$3,500 total when it could’ve been less if they’d diagnosed the bad alternator from the start. The service was polite, but the technical expertise fell short. I expected better from Honda.” More

There’s no words to describe the excellent work i get from SpaceCoastHonda.. Highly recommend their services to anyone who has a Honda or any car. They service almost all cars. Sadly, I didn’t “buy” my car there, but if i can change time, i would buy my next car there. Ever since my warranty expired, i have always gotten above service & their rates are phenomenal.. Better than where i bought my car. I live in Orlando, their dealership is in Cocoa, Florida. I would travel there, just for them to do their superior service that I can’t get anywhere.. I truly love that dealership & so will you once you try them. More
