The service was mostly good. The only thing I found to be wrong was the tire pressure after the works service. Every tire was at a different pressure. Bob at the service desk has been my rep for several years. He does a great job, knows his stuff and always takes the time to detail everything thats been done or will need to be done soon. First complaint I have is that the service manager Bob. He treated me like I was a complete moron when I clearly told him my 2019 Platinum Ford Expedition had a transmission leak and I could see the red t He treated me like I was a complete moron when I clearly told him my 2019 Platinum Ford Expedition had a transmission leak and I could see the red tinted fluid leaking right off of the T-Case. The transmission was aggressively going from any gear 5th through 10th and drop back down to 4th and vehicle would jerk! I was driving 70mph on on 75 when my Expedition went from 10th to 4th, jerked my truck and started making an awful noise. I took my Expedition back into Spirit Ford and once again they stated they couldn't verify the issue!! I took my Expedition to Brondes Ford and they immediately found the issue, got me a loaner and stated they would fix the transmission by doing a rebuild. Then to top it off Spirit Ford didn't even catch that I had a right front strut leaking "oh excuse me shock absorber part number JL1Z-18124-B) straight from the OEMFordParts website that states its a RIGHT STRUT yet warranty won't cover it because work shop manual calls it a 'shock absorber' So hey Spirit Ford what are you guys all doing with that P18 Money or 'budget money'? Not helping out your customers that purchase from you? Even 'not so Friendly' Friendly Ford in Monroe help customers they don't sell vehicles too then expect their mechanic to take the loss on their paychecks for it!? That's sad! If it was possible to leave 0 stars I would. I have spent well over 3 weeks now for our sales representative Cheryl from this dealership for copies for documentation for warranty. Every time I called she was 'busy' or with a customer out on a test drive. Never had time to produce copies of the documentation my husband & I requested. Yet made plenty of time for others whom she so urgently needed to make a sale for. Mind you I was a loyal customer to Bell Ford since 2009!! They just didn't have the truck I was looking for and Spirit did!! I should have waited until Jimmy at Bell Ford found me a duplicate truck because I absolutely regret giving Spirit Ford my families business & I caution NO ONE BUY FROM SPIRIT FORD OR TAKE THEIR VEHICLE THERE FOR SERVICE!!! The only person at Spirit Ford I delt with that was accommodating was Melissa in customer service!!! She was calm, cool and helpful; as for everyone else I came in contact with absolutely not!! I was treated like I was an inconvenience and I was put off constantly. Oh but when I came in to buy that truck I was treated way differently!! All I ever owned is Ford vehicles!!! However, if this is the direction they are going I'll buy anything but Ford!! More
I was not treated with respect when I went to pay my bill. I have leased Fords for many years, and I have never had to pay for an oil change. Although I leased my Ford in a different community, I specifically asked about oil changes. The leasing agent assured me that I could take my car to any Ford dealership and have the oil changed for free. The Spirit Ford service agent kept asking me what made me think I could get an oil change for free. I didn't mean to be contrary, but I kept telling him that I have never paid for an oil change at Ford. At Spirit, I was charged over $80. Additionally, when I checked in at the service desk, I specifically asked to have my car parked near the service area when it was finished because I am disabled. After the service was completed, I paid the bill and the service person directed to the opposite end of the parking area. I could see that my car was not there, and it was parked at the opposite end from where I was directed. It was also parked at the farthest parking spot from the service area. I know the service workers deal with many people, but if others were treated like I was, I doubt if they will be back. More
