Work was done in a timely manner once parts were received. The service area did everything they could to get the parts for my 4X4 prior to a snow storm. Four wheel drive was not working. "Try a different dealership", they said I was hoping to avoid this. But, after speaking to Michael Geitgey and the store manager everyone must know how they actually treat their customers. I was hoping to avoid this. But, after speaking to Michael Geitgey and the store manager everyone must know how they actually treat their customers. I intend for this review to help protect people from being mislead and/or taken advantage of. Side note: I suspect that the reviews on this site are skewed. Here is a link to a few other review sites: https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/m-Spitzer-Ford-Hartville-sp57350 https://www.yelp.com/biz/spitzer-ford-hartville-hartville https://www.capitalone.com/cars/dealership/Hartville-OH/Spitzer+Autoworld+Hartville+LLC/22577 Car service centers are refusing to remove the tires on my Ford Fiesta. They told me that the lug nuts were defectively manufactured and are currently under a class action lawsuit. For this reason, they do not carry replacement lug nuts from Ford and do not want to risk damaging the ones on my car. For reference, here is a link to the lawsuit page: https://www.hbsslaw.com/cases/ford-lug-nut-defect/pressrelease/ford-lug-nut-defect-ford-owners-sue-over-defective-lug-nuts-in-millions-of-vehicles If I had a car lift, I would rotate the tires and everything myself. It's not a difficult or expensive task. After trying a few other shops and getting the same answer, I decided to take my Fiesta to the nearest Ford dealer. I was hoping to get the tires rotated and the lug nuts replaced. Since the inability to remove the tires from my car is a safety issue, I requested that Ford be billed for the work. Rotating tires and replacing a few defective lug nuts costs them almost nothing and is a small price to pay for customer satisfaction. Especially when Ford vehicles cost thousands of dollars. I talked to Michael Geitgey, the service manager, and tried explaining everything to him. Completely wasting the opportunity for a happy customer, a good review or a potential sale, he refused to help. It really says something about a business when their managers can send customers away with known, easily fixable, safety issues. I thought maybe reaching out to someone else from their web site might help. It's been at least three weeks, nothing so far. Not getting a response, I tried going back to Spitzer Ford Hartville and explaining everything to the store manager. During our conversation, also I mentioned that I plan to replace my Fiesta by the end of the year (which is true). He said that he couldn't help me because their technicians are paid per job and suggested that I go to a different dealership. So, I was sent away with a safety issue for the second time. It is a shame how uninterested in helping the customer they actually are. Even if it means a good review, a potential sale or standing behind their product. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but I would be doing a disservice to future customers by not sharing my experience. Spitzer Ford Hartville might be a decent place to buy your next car as long as you take your reasonable request elsewhere. More

Don't send teenage girls in for service. I did not appreciate the way the service department took advantage of the 2 teenage girls that were sent in for a simple oil change today. Their moth I did not appreciate the way the service department took advantage of the 2 teenage girls that were sent in for a simple oil change today. Their mother was very specific as to "just an oil change" when scheduling. The girls were very specific with just an oil change" today. They ended up with a $70 "works" package with rotation. How kind of them to give them a $16 coupon. I spoke with Mike the service manager, who offered me $3 refund for the rotation. A $19.95 oil change on an 05 Escape apparently costs $67 normally. At least it does when 2 teenage girls take the car in. The girls were told to repeat "just an oil change", because upselling is part of the business. I get that. They were on a limited budget. I spent over 10 years in Ford dealerships, and never would I have imagined someone be so calus as Mike was. I sure hope they don't treat the elderly that way too. Disgraceful! More

Couldn't believe how fast the work was done. Had to have a fuel tank pressure sensor replaced on my F150. They had to pull the gas tank and drive shaft in order to do it.
