Routine Maintenance! I had a good experience today, I should say every time I stop in for service. I worked with Rebecca in the service department to get my vehicle servi I had a good experience today, I should say every time I stop in for service. I worked with Rebecca in the service department to get my vehicle serviced. She walked me through all of my recommended services items and reminded me of my service rewards that I had accumulated. I did have a slight issue where something wasn't just right after the service appointment but Mike and Rebecca were more than willing to fix the issue and make it right. Thanks again!! More

Experience in the service department I had a problem with my car. I went to the service department where they took the car to diagnose the problem. I thought I would have to come back ano I had a problem with my car. I went to the service department where they took the car to diagnose the problem. I thought I would have to come back another day to have the work done. They came out after finding out what was wrong, told me they had the part and could do the work immediately. I was in and out in less than two hours and did not have to go back another day to have the work done. Great experience More
Overcharge and lie to your face! I went into Spitzer Ford in Hartville, Ohio to get my Daytime-running lights turned on for my Focus. I was quoted $0.00 for this work and told that I I went into Spitzer Ford in Hartville, Ohio to get my Daytime-running lights turned on for my Focus. I was quoted $0.00 for this work and told that I can come in at anytime and get this done. I scheduled an appointment and took my vehicle in. Once there, I dropped my vehicle off and went to the showroom to look at a possible replacement vehicle. In the meantime (It's now 9:20 in the morning), they've still not taken the vehicle back. By the time I'm looking at the Fusion at around 9:25, they finally take my car back. I take the Fusion for a drive, which takes all of 20 minutes (I'm back by 9:45) and my Focus is sitting in the lot, completely finished. Come back to the service room and they're charging me $80.00! For a job that took less than 15 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous! Quoted $0.00 and then get a bill for $80.00? In addition, the man running the desk would constantly crack jokes and I didn't find that very professional or funny. I WILL NEVER USE SPITZER HARTVILLE EVER AGAIN! More
HAD CAR NEARLY A MONTH TO REPLACE EMC/FUEL PUMP 03 MUSTANGV6 ORDERED THE WRONG ECM-ENGINE CONTROL MODULE, ON VIN OF MY V8 O3 MACH1 VERSUS MY WIFE'S DAILY DRIVER V6 MUSTANG. THE CAR WONT START WITH NEW ECM, GEE ORDERED THE WRONG ECM-ENGINE CONTROL MODULE, ON VIN OF MY V8 O3 MACH1 VERSUS MY WIFE'S DAILY DRIVER V6 MUSTANG. THE CAR WONT START WITH NEW ECM, GEE, I WONDER WHY? YOU SOURCE THE VIN NUMBER ON THE CAR YOU ARE WORKING ON, NOT THE FIRST VIN YOU FIND IN THE COMPUTER. GUESS WHAT HAPPENS, YOU LOSE BUSINESS. DETAILING OUR CAR WITH SOME WAX AND VACUMMING OUT THE INTERIOR NICE DID NOT MAKE UP FOR KEEPING OUR CAR A MONTH. IN ADDITION, THE MACH1 I PURCHASED HAD BAD SYNCHROS IN THE TRANSMISSION. IT WAS ALWAYS NOTCHY AND WHEN GIVEN THE CHANCE TO INVESTIGATE THE PROBLEM,, THEY DECLINED. NO FAITH IN HARTVILLE FORD AFTER THAT. NOW I WOULD NOT SAY THAT ABOUT ALL SPITZER IN GENERAL, BUT HARTVILLE DROPPED THE BALL BIG TIME. GUESS WHAT, ITS TIME TO BUY A NEW TRUCK NOW. I DROVE FARTHER TO GET SOME SMALL TOWN SERVICE AND ATMOSHPHERE. I'LL TAKE A HIGH LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM OVER SMALL TOWN FRIENDLY ANYDAY. More
