He was the nicest, most professional and honest guy we have dealt with ANYWHERE! His customer service went above and beyond what we expected. We expected him to be like everyone else and cram the car we test drove down our throats trying to make a sale rather than making us comfortable and happy with our purchase. He not only made us feel comfortable, but he answered ALL our questions and made us feel like he was more into what we were looking for rather than the sale. We didn't have any pressure at all with him in fact we felt good about getting a car from him even though we had just purchased a 2011 Toyota Yaris the day before from Auction Direct USA. Thankfully, we had two days to return it if we changed our mind. And after meeting with Terry and hearing what he could offer us for our money, we ended up returning the Toyota Yaris to Auction Direct USA the same day we met with Terry and he sold us a brand new car with better mileage. I want to point out that we weren't going to look into another car after we left Auction Direct, because we were happy with the Toyota and it was fairly new. It wasn't until my brother called and suggested we go the next day and try out Hyundai for their cars, to see what we could get for our money since we could return the Toyota anytime within 2 days, and I thought 'Well it wouldn't hurt and if we don't find anything or if they are too pushy, we can just leave and we would still have a new car. Just not from them.' We wouldn't lose anything at all. And that's the attitude my husband and I had going into Hyundai April 28th, 2013. But Terry changed that, and my husband and I are very excited to be the owners of a brand new 2013 Hyundai Elantra. And thanks to Terry, we are highly recommending this dealership to our co-workers at Walgreens and our friends. And my brother, after we brought home our new car, ended up going in himself because we were SO happy with our purchase, and bought a brand new 2013 Hyundai Elantra himself! More
I had to make a decision to get another car because the car that I had was giving me a lot of problem. I called the car that I had "high maintenance". I needed a good car that wouldn't be as high mainten car that I had was giving me a lot of problem. I called the car that I had "high maintenance". I needed a good car that wouldn't be as high maintenance. My Pastor, and my daughters said I needed another car because I didn't need the issues. My daughter, called Travis Riddick, talked with him and he gave me a call. I really wasn't ready for another car, but I had no other choice since my daughter started the ball to rolling. After praying and making my decision over the weekend, my daughter and I went to see Travis on Monday, April 29. He called my daughter on Tuesday and informed her that I had been approved for a 2012 Toyota Corolla. I had in mind between 2009-2011 used car. God works in mysterious ways. I took my car, a 2006 Subaru to the dealership. Travis did what he does and gave me a price. My daughter had told him what payments we were looking for. The payment he showed us did not work and we informed Travis. He left to go talk with the Finance officer again. While he was gone, my daughter and I had a discussion and we began to pray. Travis returned and asked us to go with him to another building. When we were seated in the other office, he showed us the payment. My daughter just looked. She had to get up and go out. I sat at the desk and started crying. I know that God is a miracle worker, because He worked a miracle for me. I thank God for putting Travis in my path to help me get another car because i had said that the Subaru was the last car that I was going to buy. God knows best. Travis was very patient and understanding. He stayed past closing time to make sure that I drove off the lot in a new car (new to me). I will be recommending him if I hear of anyone needing a car. Sport Durst did their customer a great service when they hired Travis Riddick. More
We love our new car! Carole did a wonderful job explaining everything and working with us to get the best deal for us over all she did a great job at customer service! Jordan explained in detail what every button in our new car did and how to set up the hands free phone. Which we love! I would tell anyone and everyone to go to sport durst and ask for the same people we worked with! More
My experience with Sport Durst was positive upon looking and test driving my new vehicle. I dealt with new sales employee who seemed very friendly. When price came into play James stepped up and secretly beat my other price (without letting him know that) but the look on my face gave that away. Not a poker player i guess. It was a done deal that day. Salesmanship 101. The only negative i have is with the paper signing at the end. Even though it was late in the day it all should have gone smoother. When i returned home i had noticed a few discrepancies on the contract and sales receipt. The next morning 4/30/13 i had texted James and explained to him what was wrong with the paper work. He had it corrected so it seemed. So i drove back to the dealership and re-signed the amended contract. To my surprise when i got home to cross check the two documents the new one had some important info missing such as extended warranty and the protection package omitted from the newly drafted sales contract. I then called James back to have it corrected once again. (Hoping that third time is a charm!) I explained that i wasn't doing that drive again, he said he would sent a courier out to me and apologized for my going there the second time. He extended his apology and offered to me oil changes and a tank of gas when i return for my first service. I thanked him and i sure hope this is all in the past and the third sales contract is correct. Onto the final signing and more sales at the table. I wasn't aware of the Administrative fee until the end of the deal (Not Fair) should be discussed at the time of prices going back and forth. The next was the extended warranty. Was informed that once i left that day if i didn't purchase it i wouldn't be able to. Should have said i wouldn't have been able to include it after the contract was submitted. But you can still get the extended contract after the sale up to the end of the original at a higher price but you can get it. I know everyone gets commission on things they sell they deserve it but be honest and not deceiving. We have choices today and information at our finger tips. Thank you for hearing me out. Buying a car for the first time is a huge deal. I was completely paranoid about interest rates and finding the car that fit my needs while still remaining in my budget. Ricky Copelin was amazingly supportive, patient and understanding. Though I didn't believe I would be able to get the car I wanted, he found a way to make it happen. That is the epitomy of customer service. I greatly appreciate the staff at Sport Durst and their commitment to offering me a good deal. This was by far the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Clayton Foster was my Sales Consultant, and he rocked it!!!!.
