Service department lacks attention to detail We own 3 Mazda’s and have been coming to this dealership for years. The service advisors, and specifically Brian Celso, have all been excellent. My We own 3 Mazda’s and have been coming to this dealership for years. The service advisors, and specifically Brian Celso, have all been excellent. My issues have been with the service technicians and the service manager, Don. After a flat tire incident resulting in the purchase of a new tire, the spare was left in the back of our CX9. This resulted in as extra trip to correct the situation, as I am unable to lift the tire out, let alone try to figure out how to fit it up underneath the car. I asked to speak with the manager, Don. On my service visit prior to the tire incident I heard an unfamiliar noise and went in to report it to the service advisor. Jay came and heard the noise and removed a leave from a fan or filter behind the glove compartment. Jay told me that he was glad that I mentioned it before leaving because it was an easy correction but one that we probably couldn’t have fixed on our own. When I mentioned this incident to Don I was told that the car was in for an oil change NOT a noise problem. Seriously now. First of all, the noise was not there when I brought in in. Secondly, I heard it immediately upon starting the car. Shouldn’t a technician have heard the same noise? Let’s hope Don’s doctors are more thorough. If a patient comes in for heart surgery there a lot of things that need to be cross checked. I expect better attention to detail from a dealership that promotes excellent service. Again, please know that the advisors have been excellent. An lead and tire problem may seem small in the grand scheme of things, but it makes it difficult to keep coming back. More
