No BS. Very informed and involved with the sales process. We were straight forward with what we wanted. These guys did everything they could to make it happen and they did. My wife and I felt led to check out a Patriot that had everything we wanted. They were currently running a "dealership sale" on this specific model, which put it in our price range. The sale was completel everything we wanted. They were currently running a "dealership sale" on this specific model, which put it in our price range. The sale was completely legit. We previously went to Ziegler which advertised a sale, but yet we were not eligible and hardly anyone, if anyone, qualifies for. They are a waste of time. We were blessed that Cruz met us right off the bat. We had read reviews of other sales agents here requiring all sorts of info just to look at the car. Cruz gave us space and left to get the keys; allowing us time to ourselves to really look the Jeep over. Cruz dressed different, looked different, talked different than every other agent there; in a very positive way. At the end of the day, we bought the car. It was not exactly the price we wanted to pay, but I believe they were fair and I trusted Cruz to get us as close to the price that we needed. I highly recommend Cruz to anyone looking to buy a new car. I cannot vouch for the used car deals that they have, but we are very blessed to have met him and to have our Jeep. Bring on the snow! More
We were recently in the market for a used vehicle. We were told the first night we visited that the car we were interested in was $17,999. We made 2 visits to the dealership after the test drive, as we w were told the first night we visited that the car we were interested in was $17,999. We made 2 visits to the dealership after the test drive, as we were interested. We made the decision to go buy the car on a Saturday, which was wasted entirely. Early that day we asked to put the car on a service lift for further inspection. They agreed to this, and we soon found the 2008 Mariner had an oil leak. To make it better their in house service manager agreed to this crank seal issue, which caused the oil leak! We weren't too happy with this, and we asked our salesman if the repair would be made before we purchased the car. Rich then went to his manager to work the pricing. He came back and told us the price was $18,999! This was after he told us 2 days earlier the price was $17,999. They increased the price $1000 because we found the mechanical issue/oil leak. We then asked him how the price increased, and he proceeded to lie to us and say that was the price all along. He then said the car we were looking at was too much car for us and let us walk out the door. I believe they did this because they knew they were at a loss if they had to make a repair. I hate the fact that there is this stigma against car salesman and dealerships. But, St Charles Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge lives up to this bad reputation. They are liars and dishonest about the cars they are selling. And the worst part about it is after the fact we made a call to the General Manager,Carlos, and he lied again about the price (which was listed for $17999 online) and told us there was no mechanical issue with the car, after their mechanic agreed to the fact! Buyer beware to anybody in the market for a used car, they will try to screw you over. I will never buy a car from this dealership, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else does! I feel sorry for anybody that gets suckered into buying their lemon cars. More
Worked with Bob Dale and made a deal with e-mails on a new Grand Cherokee. The price on the new car was very good and the trade in was fairly priced. The deal was about $1300 better than my local dealer. new Grand Cherokee. The price on the new car was very good and the trade in was fairly priced. The deal was about $1300 better than my local dealer. Drove 165 miles to pick up car. The new Jeep was setting in front ready to go. As I drove to the dealer I anticipated there would be some reason to hear "we cannot honor the deal." There were NO hassles, everything was very smooth. I would recommend this dealership as they were very professional. More
Excellent overall we were searching for a new SUV. Picked the grand cherokee. They were very quick on negotiating price and explaining options, knowledgable of the vehicle, allowed us to drive severa Picked the grand cherokee. They were very quick on negotiating price and explaining options, knowledgable of the vehicle, allowed us to drive several without a salesman. They gave us an excellent price and the best trade in allowance of any dealer we talked to. At the final signing of the papers there was an issue with the final price that they resolved in a matter of minutes. I would buy from them again. More
This was by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had attempting to purchase a used vehicle. I arrived with my trade-ins late on a Saturday afternoon and was unable to reach an agreement on price an had attempting to purchase a used vehicle. I arrived with my trade-ins late on a Saturday afternoon and was unable to reach an agreement on price and subsequently left the dealership. On Monday afternoon I received a call from the salesperson that assisted me and asked if we could revisit the deal. After 4 phone calls we verbally reached an agreement and I confirmed the price and stated that I would be in later in the day to finalize the deal. I again called one hour prior to leaving for the dealership and confirmed price and terms. Upon arrival at the dealership I waited 2 hours, only to be told that they could not live with the pricing they had agreed to over the telephone. The manager that had signed off on the pricing could not be found so I was forced to speak with the used car buyer, who ultimately did not have decision making authority. Although my Carfax and Autocheck was clean, I was told that "A BMW DEALERSHIP" told them verbally that the car was in an accident, which was a fabricated statement. It became immediately clear that there was activity on the vehicle I was attempting to purchase, as the internet price the next business day was increased by $1000.00. I certainly do not begrudge a dealership the ability to maximize profits, but I do not beleive it is a good business practice to make a deal, have a customer drive 15 miles, sit for 2 hours and then fabricate information so that they can walk away from the deal they made. On a positive note, my salesperson Christian and his counterpart James were extremely professional and attempted to make the experience comfortable. More
I saw an add on craigslist for this jeep patriot that they had online for, and i thought it looked like a great deal so i drove out to st. charles to look at this car. I got there and a salesman (james a they had online for, and i thought it looked like a great deal so i drove out to st. charles to look at this car. I got there and a salesman (james ayers) came out and talked to me and my boyfriend. He went and got the keys and we test drove this patriot...it was a piece of crap. Making weird noises with the engine, some lights were on, so i simply said okay lets keep looking...i want a jeep. So i saw this jeep loredo that was just what i was looking for so i asked him how much they were asking for it..he said he had to go look he came back with a list of cars and said they wanted 18,000 for this 2006 jeep loredo...i was floored, thought it was a little too much. Then we looked at another jeep loredo they had they were asking 16,000 for a 2005 jeep loredo that the passenger rear door was completely falling off i couldnt believe it! Then the sales manager comes out and talks to us i asked him how much he was asking for the 2006 blue loredo he said they were asking 20,000 for this car...but the sales guy just told me they were asking 18,000 I was confused, and thrown off a bit. I should have taken that as my sign and ran as fast as i could from that place. Instead I let them talk me into the 2007 trailblazer. They said they could work me a good deal..yeah yeah yeah. Well after they financed me and we signed the contract I get a call the next day they need all this financial paperwork..okay so i faxed it to them. I work two jobs and I work every single day of the week...this dealership called me at least 20 times a day..i cannot carry my cell phone on me at work, they called my work then asking for me..which was not cool at all...asking for more financial paperwork. okay fine. faxed it over. then i get a phone call from their finance lady norma saying my payments went up and if i didnt like it i could come get my car and they would happily take theirs back..i did not appreciate the way she treated me at all. So i called her on that following monday tellign her im tired of this and im coming to get my car back and she said thats fine. I get to the dealership and they tell me i cant take my car back..but theyre trying to raise my payments and get more money out of me after we already signed a contract!! It was ridiculous. after we got that all settled and they finally agreed to keep my payments the same and they apologized and promised me a free detailing and tank of gas...(im still waiting on my free detail)they called me all the next week asking for more financial stuff. This place is a joke!! the salesman (james) i worked with was a nice kid. the others there on the other hand...are just in it for the money, they didnt seem to care at all for the customers. I will never recommend this place to anyone or go there for another car again. More
