I I would like to thank the sales guy from St. Charles Hyundai - Jarrod F. for providing excellent customer service and help in buying my new Elantra. I had known what vehicle I wanted a long time ago, and was price shopping by email with 5 dealers in St. Louis. The most important factors for me were price and some kind of free service perks from the dealer, which there aren't many in town. My model of choice wasn't in stock in any of the dealers, but with the opportunity of having it delivered, my choice was narrowed down to best bidders - Dean Team and St. Charles based on their offer by email and phone, with St. Charles' price being like 90 bucks lower. Because we had a friend at Dean Team, we thought we would get a better deal with more negotiation. After a test drive and some talking we were not able to get the price lower than St. Charles' offer by more than 90 bucks, despite the friendship advantage. I thought I was done and didn't really want to shop any more, so I asked them to order my future car, without really signing papers. However, when I texted with that info to Jarrod at St. Charles, he was quick to respond with a counter-offer of 1000 dollars less for price and 2 years of free service at their dealership. I was blown away. It was nice to know that your needs were heard and understood and someone cared to get you the best deal, even though they have never seen you in person. I couldn't pass that up, especially because no papers were signed yet. Jarrod was very friendly and patiently talked me through the paperwork. He was always available and prompt when answering questions on his email and phone. On the day when the car was delivered, he trained me for a bit on the technology and finalized the 2-year free service offer. I was very satisfied with his work and would recommend St. Charles Hyundai to anybody. More
