I found a vehicle I was interested in, took it for a test drive, noticed there were issues with the brakes and key fobs missing buttons. Upon agreement of payment, I was advised the vehicle would be worked o drive, noticed there were issues with the brakes and key fobs missing buttons. Upon agreement of payment, I was advised the vehicle would be worked on first thing in the morning and I could pick it up by 10am. I arrived at 10am and the vehicle had not even been checked. Once they did bring it in to check the brake issue, it was discovered there was also wheel bearings that needed to be replaced, as well as a sensor. I waited until 7pm to take possession of the vehicle, key fobs were given, still missing buttons, but brake issue was resolved. My issue or concern is that they had the vehicle, passed inspection, yet it seemed they never checked the vehicle prior to my test drive. Inspections require working brakes, this vehicle needed pads, rotors and a wheel bearing, all of which would have failed inspection. More

I would not recommend buying a car here at all. Purchased a relatively lightly used vehicle from them. As soon as I drove the car off the lot it started making a squealing noise from the back. I brought the a relatively lightly used vehicle from them. As soon as I drove the car off the lot it started making a squealing noise from the back. I brought the car back to the dealer and they had to take it in for service (didn't get it back for two days). Needed a complete brake job and e-brake adjustment. I got the car back and everything seemed to be working alright. A few months later I went to bring the car for in for state inspection only to find out that the e-brake was completely non-functional. The mechanic that repaired it told me that the only way it could have possible broken the way it did was if I had driven it a substantial amount with the emergency brake engaged (which I know for a fact I did not do) or if Star had incorrectly adjusted it when they initially "repaired" it. I tried contacting Star's general manager, Glenn, several times over the course of the last month to see if there was anything they could do regarding this issue but he was extremely unhelpful, didn't return my phone calls on multiple occasions. Do not buy a car here under any circumstances, just plain sleazy. More
