The management suck. I was shopping online for a reliable suv with low mileage at a reasonably price, which I found when shopping online at Star Auto Mall. Test drive a 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan and the Tiguan drive nice, but now a month into have the Tiguan on the Highway on my way to work the rear lower part of my bumper came offf. One of the most terrifying experience my family and I went through. All I knew I heard a big tomp, wasn't sure if I had hit something on the road or not. So when I pulled over to take a look, very seem ok from the front of the tiguan but as I walk to the back my bumper is missing and my tire is slowly going down. So long story short my family and I life was put in danger and it could have been worse. This happen 10/10/2017. The saleman who help me in the purchase was great, larry was his name. THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY!!!! Where do I start. If I could give this dealership negative stars I would! They are completely unprofessional, rude, and liars. I am deployed in Afghanistan and they took full advantage of me. They fraudulently overcharged me for government tax, title and license for my car, and as of now 12/21/2016, 4 months later, my car has yet to be registered. I have not received tags for my car due to Star Auto not filing my paperwork, so I am basically paying for a car that I can't legally drive. They do not respond to emails, and when you call they will lie to you, or just blow you off! Shiv, the TTL representative, lied to me on several occasions about the status of filing my TTL paperwork. He told me that he filed my paperwork, however when I called the DMV to verify, I was told that there is no record of my car pending registration and my title is still in the previous owners name! When I confronted Shiv about this, and asked him for some kind of tracking number to track when he sent off my TTL packet, he talked around my questions, contradicted himself, or came up with some xxxxxxxx excuse. Ron is not much better; he is somehow magically never available to talk, and whenever I requested for new dealers tags due to them taking forever to get my registration done, he told me quote on quote, "you can drive on the expired registration, it is not a moving violation, and if you get a ticket, we will pay for the ticket." Are you kidding me? I even filled out all of the paperwork myself and sent it to them to file with all the needed documentation with NO RESULTS. All I ever got from these ppl was lies and the run around. I am now at the point to where I have to pay almost 2k out of my pocket to get my own registration done just so I can legally drive my car. Pretty much I'm paying double; what I paid them (almost 3k), plus 2k additional to do their job for them! It does not help to be nice to these ppl, nor argue with them. I have never dealt with a business like this! They do not care about their customers and if they can take advantage of you they will! I am suing these ppl! Please take my advice and STAY FAR AWAY!!!! More

The used car I purchased f I am happy with the car I purchased at Star Auto Mall, but very unhappy with the Star Auto Mall experience. Let me explain. The used car I purchased from Star came with three unsafe tires, not something you expect with an $18,000 purchase. The first of these tires popped in the first small pothole it encountered. The tire had been plugged and the plug simply blew out, totally ruining my Labor Day. When I got the car to my normal, highly reputable tire and repair service, they found the plug and of course would not even try to fix the tire. When they examined the rest of the tires, they found two that had very bad cracking on the sidewall, exposing the tread, and were therefore unsafe to drive on. I bit the bullet and and replaced the whole set of tires, plus the fender liner that the blown tire had taken with it. A few days later, I went in to ask Emmet at Star for some relief on the money I had had to spend. His response was to berate my repair shop, without even knowing who it was, and go off on some tangent. In short, he refused to stand behind the product he had sold me. Clearly, he sold me the tires as well as the car, and his organization put a safety sticker on the car, passing it with three unsafe tires. He never offered to reimburse me for the tires or to do anything else to make the situation right. All he did was run off at the mouth, finally making me so angry that I had to leave. I would never buy a car there again, and would recommend that you stay away as well. Buyer beware; these people won’t stand behind their products. More

Willy my Sales Rep was Amazing! Owner very accomidatiing! Willy the sales/lot manager was great! He had a no pressure sales approach that both my wife and I loved. Willy was vey honest about the vehicle and Star Auto Mall were true to their word on holding the vehicle on deposit. The finance guy was speedy and friendly as well. Both were very competent and professional. Even though I am rating the dealership as "5-star" I was not impressed with the general manager and would recommend his replacement. I feel his demeanor does not fit the courteous culture of the remainder of the employees, Thanks Star Auto Mall for the great experience! More
