This customer drove her vehicle into our driveway behind an employee who was driving into our lot despite the fact that we were not open to the public due to Covid-19. She asked to speak to a manager and told us she wanted to return her lease, she was informed that she needed an appointment to return her lease because we need to have a spot available for her car, she was also informed that she shouldn’t even be in the showroom without an appointment because we were not open to the public. The customer kept insisting that this was unacceptable and it wasn't her problem that she didnt have an appointment because someone who inspected her car (no affiliation with our store) told her she didnt need one. We told her she was misinformed but we would do our best to accommodate her by moving her ahead of most of our other lease return appointments and squeezing her into the next available slot which was 3 days later. The customer kept saying she was having a terrible experience and we weren’t trying to help her. We explained that we were doing our best to accommodate everyone given the circumstances with the pandemic, we also informed her that if she felt like she was having a bad experience she didnt have to return her car to our store she could bring it to any Nissan store. The customer became totally unhinged, screaming across the showroom that “no one was going to tell her where to bring her car” and “my business pays your salary, you’re lucky to have a job”. At that point she was totally irrational and was told to leave the showroom since she had become a disturbance to the store and everyone in there. Appalling behavior from a customer at a time when people should be overly understanding and accommodating. So sad.
