***PLEASE BEWARE OF MIKE***One month ago we put in our ***PLEASE BEWARE OF MIKE*** One month ago we put in our deposit, set the deal (had it written on the receipt)- then we waited 1 month for the car to ***PLEASE BEWARE OF MIKE*** One month ago we put in our deposit, set the deal (had it written on the receipt)- then we waited 1 month for the car to arrive. So we go into the dealership ready to pick up the car and all we had to do was sign paperwork. We go into Mike’s office and he nonchalantly states (sneaky man) that our rate is going to increase because our credit is too “light” and that we are a first time buyer. So what about the car we are about to trade in Mike? What about the title for the car we are about to trade in Mike? He later finds out about the ownership to our car and later finds out that he didn’t have all the info.. When, BY THE WAY, all of that info was on his desk and right in front of him. He was ignorant, greedy, not diligent with his paperwork and worst of all the fuming of arrogance coming out of him. Baseline: He didn’t do his homework and he just wanted to somehow make some more money the day we finally come to pick up our car. (which again, it’s a typical dealership tactic.. I understand, because you gotta make your money but please I’m not one to sit and let you do this to.) His response to our frustration: “Give me 5 minutes let me make a call to the bank.” So he asked us to leave his office, who knows what he did within that time…. I guess this is the part where he came to realize he made a mistake? But his apology was more like a sorry not sorry, he stated “I’m sorry if you thought I came off a certain way.” Our frustrations made us want to leave and take our deposit back- so we said thank you and got up to leave. But Mike the man requests us to leave his office once more so that he can “make another phone call”. Offered us a coupon and “made it all better”- says Mike. Overall: such an unpleasant experience in getting a new car. Wasted so much time and energy because of Mike’s ignorance. Subaru is such a great brand, so unfortunate that they missed on this one. My mom was also told that her english is good, I’m sorry but that’s quite racist and also quite ignorant to state. Because she’s Asian and she’s able to respond to questions in english, she has good english? But to their defense, not being a minority, they may not understand what those types of comments may come off as. Completely understandable, ignorance is bliss. More
I came in to purchase my leased CrossTrek.
