I would normally rate higher as in the past. However, I had my Tahoe in for service and specifically requested the tailgate cylinder be replaced. This was my second service request for the same. I waited for my car to be serviced for oil and filter change as well as the 30K check. When I went to pay for service, I was told again nothing was wrong with my lift gate cylinder by Wayne, we argued a bit about this, and Wayne went to get the manager. I was able to show Wayne snd the manager what was wrong with the lift gate cylinder, and the service manager said he would replace it on “Customer Satisfaction”, I mentioned I had the bumper to bumper extended warranty, and the manager said that I did not. That I only had the extended warranty on drive train. I said, “No. I paid for the comprehensive coverage.” The manager said to just replace it. Wayne told me to come back the next morning by 7:30, and he would get me in and out in a hurry, I was first in line at 7:15 the next morning. I did not get put of Starling until 10:15. My lift gate cylinder was covered under my extended warranty, so the work was done under warranty. More
I was there for the maintenance advantage plan. I got my oil changed and tire rotation. I'm disappointed that the air pressure in my tires was not addressed. As for my time at the dealership; the service performed was quick, the waiting room accommodations was pleasant and all the employees I had interactions with were very friendly. More
