I purchased my second Subaru Outback from Stateline Subaru in Somerset. This time I worked with Jay Deleon. He is awesome! Ask for him and tell him that Diane sent you. I was there having an oil change on my car and he helped me locate the service department. While waiting for my car, I was checking out the new cars. Jay was always there to explain the differences between my cars and the newer Outback. No Pressure. Jay was funny and friendly and very helpful in guiding me to choose the best car for me. I did not even intend to purchase a new car that day BUT I could not turn down the deal offered. Jay has been helpful in scheduling service. He checks on me to be sure that I have all my questions answered. We sat in the new car for a long time waiting to connect to Starlink and he handled the transfer of my account to the new car as well as the updating passwords for the Starlink and My Subaru apps. He went over all the new options in my new Outback. When I left I knew I made a new friend that I could always turn to if I have a problem with my car. I had a part ordered and he checked on it and made the appointment for the installation. You could not find a better salesman anywhere. . . More

We leased our 2018 Outback from Inna three years ago and had a great experience. We went back to see Inna at the end of the lease and decided to purchase it. Worked with the very polite and helpful Steve Chaves who was charming, co-operative and helpful. We were ready to do a deal, the only remaining negotiable factor being the value of a trade in vehicle. In co was charming, co-operative and helpful. In comes the Manager, (Joe I believe),The amount offered for the trade in was well below the value suggested by all online appraisal tools, by a factor of 40 to 50%. I then asked a simple question which caused an adverse and angry response from Joe. I asked "Give me your very best bottom line" and I'll either bite or reject. "That's not how it works" he advised., angrily and with a bellicose combative attitude. I picked uo my toys, hopped out of the crib and went home. After much online research my son found a 2018 Crosstrek at Stateline. We agreed to the purchase and loan terms as we understand that this is how dealerships make money. We did not even try to negotiate we took their price and loan terms without any issues. As we were taking possession of the car we were given one key fob which was on a tag that read 2/2 meaning 2 of 2. I said where is the other fob and the salesperson Josh went to look for it. He came back and said he could not find it but would look for it for us and would send it to us. I said this is a big issue. Not having a second key fob is a big issue if something happens and our son has an emergency we need to have a second key fob. He assured me and my son that if he did not find it they would make one for us. I followed up several days later and he said he could not find the key and possibly there was a mistake and that there was no second key? I checked with my son who confirmed that there was definitely 2 keys on the tag when the original sales person let us take it for a drive. So now we are getting the run around. Josh is not returning our calls. The sales manager is not returning our calls. Quite frankly this is lousy customer service. You assure your customers that you will provide them with a key fob and then you give them the run around? You are not keeping your end of the deal. Shall I just pay off my loan at this point so you don't make any money off me? You know what my number is. Feel free to call me. Kathleen P Oh and by the way...BIG MISTAKE!
