The car I bought is great ‘21 Sant Fe Hybrid's but I’ve had maybe the worst service I ever. I bought this car with 5 years 60k miles free oil change and at 38k they have been denying this service and it’s in my Hyundai Protection Plan and made me pay. The manager found the mistake and promised to pay me back in Oct. 23 and I haven’t received the check yet. I go to get another free oil change and get my money back from the last one and after arguing with the first person the new manager comes out and says they don’t honor the previous owner Beaslys contract that they are Steele Hyundai now. I told them it’s still Hyundai’s Protection plan. They still denied it. I called Hyundai Protection plan and they said that Steele has claimed these before for my vehicle and doesn’t understand why they are denying it. It’s accepted in any hyundai nationwide. I want my $$ back! Do not buy from there or get service. They don’t have any knowledge of their business. They even almost ruined my car by not screwing in the oil filter in tightly and all the oil spilled out causing me to get towed. What a nightmare. More
When this was Beasley Hyundai. I bought 3 cars there. Now the service lead times are over a month. The waiting area looks like a dump. Worst dealership experience in 40 years. My y I bought 3 cars there. Now the service lead times are over a month. The waiting area looks like a dump. Worst dealership experience in 40 years. I have called no less than 5 times in the past three days for my paperwork which they promised to send to me via email right after the deal was signed. Do take their word on anything. Leave with it what they commit to or don't get it at all. During the deal as well they never called me to tell me that my car did not arrive. I was driving to their dealership and decided to check. They informed me that it didn't arrive and that they would call me when it came in. No apologies for not informing me that the delivery date slipped. If there was this model at another dealership I would have gone there. I predict that when cars are easier to come by, this dealership is toast. No one is going to go there. You've been warned. More
Purchased a Sonata in July with a pre approved check from my own credit union. Ever since I drove off the lot, they have been poor with their service- I don't think majority know how to do their jobs. Th my own credit union. Ever since I drove off the lot, they have been poor with their service- I don't think majority know how to do their jobs. They have not cashed my check which expires soon. No one is helping me understand what they are doing. Is it lost, is there more info needed, are they just lazy? If that check expires, then what? I also finally just had plates mailed out on Friday (if they actually did it). My husband bought a new vehicle from Toyota a week after me and received his plates a week later. I still have not received mine for over 2 months. The sales manager, James, said there's a state delay which a sales rep confirmed that it was due to them not submitting their paperwork. Overall bad customer service and the overall dealership just doesn't know what they are doing. Stay FAR AWAY. More
Once you buy the car you will never hear from them again. Have tried to get service for 3 months and when you call they tell you to use the website which does not seem to work and is offering appointments i Have tried to get service for 3 months and when you call they tell you to use the website which does not seem to work and is offering appointments in September as of today. Never got license plates and every time I call they promise to call back and have never done so once for ANYTHING. I get pulled over by DPS often because I have no plates. Most times when you call you will go on-hold. About half the time I was put on hold the line dropped at exactly 2 minutes. This is an appalling business who does not deserve your patronage and will not treat you nice at all. More
Short Version: terrible experience attempting to purchase a vehicle at a painfully understaffed dealership. Wasted over 6 hours at the dealership waiting to purchase said vehicle, and was told after we hande a vehicle at a painfully understaffed dealership. Wasted over 6 hours at the dealership waiting to purchase said vehicle, and was told after we handed the folks a check and signed all the paperwork that "they couldn't sell us this car". Long version: We called ahead and spoke to Faith (who was very helpful throughout the day), who confirmed that a certain vehicle was available for sale as shown on Steele's website AND that it was actually on-site and ready for pickup. We got our payment together and arrived at the dealership around 10am. Faith was working with another customer (noted they were busy + understaffed), and after what seemed like a long wait (#1), Mike came along and we worked with him in her absence. When we stated we wanted to take a test drive, we were told the specific car was not ready, and we would need to wait (#2) for it to get "shopped" (inspected for road readiness) before we could drive it. This took until somewhere after 1-2PM before we could even drive the vehicle (the shop was reported to be understaffed). The vehicle was everything we were hoping for and we were ready to get our vehicle. We then waited (#3) for quite a long time for the lone finance gentleman to become available. There were a total of 4 people ahead of us because...you guessed it...understaffed! Once we did deal with finance, it was a quick process. Probably because we had an out-the-door price and a check in-hand to match, so little chance/need to go the upsell route. After that, Faith came back around some time later had all the paperwork together we needed to sign. Paperwork was straightforward, and we handed off the check and were ready to take our vehicle home. After some more waiting (#4), we were informed that "this vehicle actually can't be sold because it's a 'service rental', which I guess just means a dealership loaner. Since it wasn't actually used (had 7 on the odometer when we test drove), we were good with their option of contacting corporate to free it up for sale. A little more waiting (#5) resulted in the Manager meeting us, telling us again he "couldn't sell it", "hasn't ever seen anything like this before", and of course offering to sell us a different vehicle. He did offer to look for an exact replacement in the coming week, but by that time the depths of incompetence/negligence at this dealership, snail's pace customer service due to staffing shortsightedness, and general distaste for a wasted Saturday (now about 4:30P), we decided to cut bait and head home. Irritated, and without a vehicle. Learn from our mistakes: if they don't have what you need in a timely fashion - do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. More
