We apologies that you feel this way about the repairs on your 24 IS350. Anytime any dealership claims a warranty repair the dealer must prove to the manufacture that the root cause was due to a manufacture defect of workmanship or materials and in your case that did not fall under these categories. The condensation that you suspected that your cluster had turned out to be residue from some type of cleaner that was used on the dash that worked its way behind the clear shield. It is impossible to only have condensation on the cluster screen and not have any other evidence of water intrusion inside your cabin. We offered you a discounted price to remove the cluster and remove the plastic shield and clean this residue off and we hope you’re satisfied with the repair that we performed. I've owned Lexus's for over 20 years, and have never had issues with cleaning the dash or instrument clusters. Furthermore, no where in the Lexus 2024 IS300, IS350, IS500, manual (OM53G16U) does it state to not clean the instrument cluster. It states (OM53G16U, Page 276, section 6-1) that no polish wax or polish cleaner is to be used on the instrument cluster as the panel may reflect off the windshield and cause obstruction. It does not explicitly state that no liquids or cleaners are to be used at all on the dash or instrument cluster lenses. If something on a vehicle can by compromised by simple cleaners, then the design itself is at fault and should be reasonably covered under a manufacturers warranty.

As far as the time that it took for an oil change 1 hour and 45 minutes is on par for the type services that we performed on your vehicle. Unlike other drive through oil change establishments, we take the time to provide you with a comprehensive video MPI inspection on your vehicle. We perform an oil change while your vehicle is on a hoist to inspect all under body panels and suspension, and we provide a complimentary car wash. Car washes can add time to your service visit like any other big chain car wash establishments. If you would like to have the vehicle back to you sooner, please notify the Advisor next time you have service with us not to wash the vehicle.
