Doug Bonafillia, our salesperson, and The Cross Trek Hybrid we saw on the internet had been sold the day before we visited Steve Lewis Hadley Subaru. Doug Bonafillia, our salesperson, and Myron Callender, the business manager, looked all over the New England Subaru "family" and quickly found an identical car. The rest of our purchasing experience sounds remarkably similar to the many very positive reviews listed on the internet - one of the reasons we decided to visit Steve Lewis in the first place. Doug was knowledgeable, friendly and fun to drive with on our test drive. Ours was a complicated situation (out of state purchase with all the requisite registration bureaucracy), but Doug and Myron dealt with the finances and intricate tri-state issues skillfully. They even delivered the car 250 miles away to our summer place in Maine. Talk about door to door service! Our two 'runners" were true New England characters. Delightful! The complete experience was A+ and we highly recommend the Hadley dealership. More
Love the car, not the dealership Typical car salesmen. I get that they are working on commission but I felt like they were in it more for the sale then for what I was looking for. Every website I went to said you shouldn't pay more then $100. I had a co-signer to be safe, yet the loan paperwork lists them as the primary and will not change it. I was referred by a friend and yet they were unable to uphold their referral reward program. The in person conversations left me feeling slimy. The only reason I went through with my purchase was the car, exact make and mileage I was looking for. These issues weren't a huge deal. However, I was called and emailed MANY times after my purchase just to do this survey. This same survey was brought up multiple times before I even went through with the purchase. There should be more emphasis on the customer and their needs and less on the image of the dealership. In a better light, I went in to see the car and three days later was driving it. Still loving the car every time I get in it. More

Unfortunately, I was recently in an accident, and totaled my 2013 Legacy but I knew immediately I would return to SLS to replace it. I Chose a 2014 Impreza this time, and could not be happier. My sales representative, Doug, was knowledgeable and and a pleasure to do business with. I knew exactly what color and trim level I wanted, and although that particular vehicle was difficult to come by, they gave me exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be a loyal customer and purchase all of my future vehicles through them. More

All we had to do was sit in their comfy chairs, while it seemed every employee came by at least once to see how we were doing. Chatty, friendly, low key. It's the only dealership I've ever been in where I feel like popping back in to say "hi." And I'm pretty sure, if I did, that I'd be greeted with the same friendliness and enthusiasm as if I were there to buy another car. More
