Steve Lewis Subaru I was looking for my very first brand new car, and I knew I wanted something that would be good for the New England weather. Based upon that I decided I was looking for my very first brand new car, and I knew I wanted something that would be good for the New England weather. Based upon that I decided that what I really wanted was a Subaru. I had done some research online and decided that the 2014 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Limited was the car for me. With that decided, I went to another Subaru dealership to start looking. While I was at this other dealership, I really just didn't feel like I was important or that they really cared about getting me the specific car I wanted, just the ones that they had available at the moment. I left that dealership feeling defeated and very nervous about buying a car. Later that day, I looked around online for other dealerships in the area through TrueCar.com and found Steve Lewis Subaru. Even though it was an hour's drive away, I decided to go there and check them out. I went there that same day, and from the moment I walked in I knew I had found the right place. Joe Clark was the first person I met there, and he introduced me to Gus Erskine who ultimately worked with me on the car buying process. Both Gus and Joe felt like genuine people to me, and they worked to find me the exact car I wanted in the color I wanted. This car was still "at port" when I was at the dealership but they took the time to show me all of the information on it. Even though that day I had gotten to the dealership later in the day (arriving about an hour before they were closing and leaving within five minutes of closing time), I at no point felt rushed. About a week and a half later my car had arrived and I received a call that afternoon on the day it arrived to let me know it was there. It took a few days to get everything sorted out on my end with the loan information, during which I worked with Myron Callender. Myron was very patient and helpful while I got everything with the loan figured out. On the day I went to pick up my car the process was very quick and I feel like everything about my car and the car buying process was explained very well in detail to me. I am so happy with my new Subaru Impreza and I am glad that I purchased it through Steve Lewis Subaru. If you're looking for a place where you can feel like they actually care about you, and want to help, I highly suggest them! I was already sold on the brand, with a high mileage Outback that had given me great satisfaction. I wanted a newer used Outback, but changed my mind to a new Impreza. For years i have dealt exclusively with people i know personally, regardless of the distance i must travel. For the first time in almost a decade, i struck out on my own, not only dealing with a different dealership, (local) but also with a different vehicle (subaru). Historically a dedicated toyota customer, i made the big switch to subaru. I tried to shop locally for a toyota, but i felt that i was being bamboozled in a way i have not experienced in many, many years. Pete L at Steve Lewis Subaru earned my respect for his integrity and willingness to negotiate in a way that felt fair. He took the time to let me test drive several different vehicles, and advised me on my personal needs. At no time did i feel pressured to "seal the deal", and when i finally did seal the deal, the final price felt reasonable and the interest rate was better than i had hoped. For the first time EVER, i will willingly return to do business at Steve Lewis Subaru in Hadley, MA, with Peter Lustenberger for my next purchase, assuming that i continue to be happy with my changeover to subaru. I expect that i will continue to be satisfied with the product. I will always prefer to shop locally, and Pete L. at Steve Subaru has earned my loyalty. My husband and me went looking for a new car and we ended up purchasing a certified 2013 used Subaru. Larry Flakes our sales associate was awesome! He wasn't pushy, he was in fact very patient with us as we couldn't decide which car to buy. We test drove three cars, asked him a million questions, before finally making up our minds. Larry was very informative and helped us set up our phones to bluetooth (nice feature). The manager was friendly and spoke with us as well as the other staff members. Mike T. was nice and helpful and did a lot of paperwork (twice) as we made a minor error. The waiting area had coffee and a snack machine. There were plenty of comfortable chairs and couches and a big television. Our Subaru was ready when we arrived to pick it up. This is our second Subaru as we are extremely satisfied with their ratings and performance. We highly recommend Steve Lewis dealership and associates. The Williams family. More
