I had a very positive experience here. Todd and Myron were very nice and very willing to work with me to find terms that were agreeable. Buying a car is a stressful situation, but I do think that with Todd's help I was able to do so in a minimally painful way. My wife and I planned to buy a new 2014 Subaru Forester. We decided to go to Steve Lewis dealership to take a look, since it is so close to us(Amherst,MA). Peter Lustenberger is the sale associate who welcomes us. We were impressed by how professional Peter is on both technical introduction of vehicle and also understanding of our standing point. During my wife and I took turns to test drive this new Forester, Peter is very polite and patient to go over features on this basic 2.5i model. He knew exactly what's our concern as new parents: kid's safety. We negotiated on the OTD price mostly and didn't feel too much pressure normally seen from many dealerships. Peter is very friendly throughout the whole about 1 hour negotiation process. Finally, both parties agree on an offer and we made the deal. Now I am expecting my brand new Forester tomorrow after I get insurance. Overall, Steve Lewis Subaru dealership is well recommended and we also hope we get professional service whenever needed in the future. More
David Hanks was wonderful to deal with and he was so instructive and helpful explaining the new "gadgets" on my new 2014 Subaru. He offered to help again when I get my new phone so we could correctly plug in the new numbers. All of my favorite radio stations were also programmed by David. When changing license plates, we couldn't get the old one off so of course, he did so and then followed us home to drop off the car before I drove my new one home. I went to several subaru dealerships where you felt more like a number than a person. Starting with Holly as the internet treated great. So when my husband needed a car, I don't think there was any hesitation in heading back to Steve Lewis. They are a unique dealership, and one that I recommended to both my sister and nephew, both of whom bought new Subaru vehicle there on our recommendation. Peter Lustenberger was our sales associate for this sale. He had been my sister's sale associate and she found him very personable, so he was the one we asked for. Peter was extremely helpful in finding what we were looking for, knowledgeable in the products being sold, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was to our liking. We chose the newly designed 2014 Subaru Forester. Steve Lewis is the one dealership where you don't feel that high pressure to buy the first day, if you do not wish to. In both our purchases, we wanted to come back because we were treated fairly and with respect. We have no hesitation in recommending Peter or Steve Lewis Subaru to anyone we know that is looking for a car.
