We all tried to call you. You claim bait and switch and that was never the case. I again invite the readers to visit www.autobytel.com to see for themselves if there were any such Camargo's posted by this dealership matching Mr. Blankenship' description. You will find none. As a matter of fact, you would be challenged to find a Pre-owned 2016 matching that description anywhere. Good luck in your hunt and have a nice day.

Wow, Steve Raymen's Management will go to great lengths to try to confuse and deceive. This response post by does not address the issue that their employee Crystal Clinner called me and advised me that they had the specific car that I was interested in. When I asked for specific details on the car rather than rushing down there to Steve Raymen, they not longer want to talk. I can prove that this happened. I have the email chain. Again, Autobytel referred me to Steve Rayman Chevrolet and other local dealers about the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro that I am in the market for. None of the other Metro Atlanta Dealers tried to lie to me to get me to come to their lots. I see several other posts on this website referring to the Steve Raymen Chevrolet bait and switch tactics. Worse their management then tries to deceive public with responses that don't match the facts. SHAME ON YOU, STEVE RAYMEN CHEVROLET.

I understand that the car that you were interested in ,the red leaf, was indeed in stock but so before you arrived. Again unfortunately for you the vehicle was sold before you arrived at the dealership, but we do not hold cars for anyone nor does any dealership that I've ever been involved with it over the past 20 years of my experience in the automotive industry does such a thing. For the price that that vehicle was selling for it should be no surprise to any educated consumer that it was not going to last long on our lot. We wish you the best.

JohnnyCM responded

Nice try, but I'm not buying it. You advertised that red Leaf for two weeks before I came to look at it. Again, I called just 60 minutes prior to appearing on your lot and you confirmed that the red Leaf was still available. Then it disappears in that 60 minutes? I don't think so. Also, why didn't Jamie tell me it had sold when I talked to him? Instead, he led me to believe I was walking out on the lot with his salesperson to look at the red Leaf. Only when I got out on the lot and said "where's the Leaf" did your salesman tell me that it must have sold. And he didn't say something like "Oh, we just sold it." Instead he said "I've never lied to you.", as in, yes people lie here, but I don't. Don't insult my intelligence.

December 26, 2016

Manger straight up lied to me. Steve Rayman posted a car online and I went to see it. They said it wasn't ready for the lot yet but I could go to the back to see it. I went and saw More

Would you include a name so that this could be investigated? The way it is worded, means that you bought the car anyway. I need a name.

I purchased the car from another dealer three days later. They stated they bought the car from Steve Rayman. So yes I do own the same car, just didnt buy it from Steve Rayman. The used car manager I spoke with was Cory, I gave him my name and number with a verbal commitment. CJ was the manager that called me back because I was upset that it was sold. He told me that it was bought for the owners friend that's why it was sold and that it was sold before it ever got to the lot. Which couldn't be true because I bought the car a few days later at another dealers lot.

Unfortunately it happens Sir, that the car you are interested is sold before you arrive. Never was it "switch and bait", in other words we did advertise a car that had not been in our inventory in order to get you to buy something else. A lot can happen in 4 hours as everyone knows. Good luck to you Sir

jackmac responded

thank you for your response. I could have believed your scenario if only one vehicle was in question; but I was told that there were over 5 on site. GM says you NEVER had them to begin with. I came back to this dealership for my 4th purchase. All prior purchases and service had been great. But now the systemic falsehoods and attempted coverups have eliminated this dealership from any more future purchases. A couple of bad apples are setting the tone for all the rest of the employees whom have worked so hard to set a good reputation. Earning a good rep is hard enough, having to fix a bad one is above the ability of most. Good luck with GM corp.
