The best experience I've ever had at a car dealership I saw a truck online I was very interested in, but before driving an hour to the dealership, I called to be sure it was still available. My first interaction with Steven Toyota was with Hillary, who was so friendly and didn't make me feel like I was inconveniencing her by my call. She told me to ask for her when I arrived, and told me she would have the truck moved up front so it would be right there when I arrived. She left such a great first impression on me, especially because I'm a very recent transplant to Charlottesville (and had never been to Harrisonburg before), so truck shopping felt like an even more daunting experience being in unfamiliar territory. As promised, when I drove in the Steven Toyota parking lot, the truck was parked right up front. I started to look at the truck when a friendly salesman approached me. I told him I had spoken to Hillary and was to ask for her when I arrived. He led me inside and then returned with Hillary. She was just as welcoming in person, and explained she was not a salesperson so I would need to link up with one to test drive the truck. The gentleman that approached me outside was a salesman, so I chose to continue on with him. His name was Jonathan Irvine. He was so down to Earth, funny, and made me feel at ease. He happily answered the million questions I had about the truck, and after explaining that I totaled my 2 year old RAV4 one week before, understood the anxiety I felt unexpectedly in the market for a new vehicle. Our test drive went great, and I returned to Steven Toyota excited to buy a Tacoma. The gentleman that assisted with explaining the purchase agreement was just as friendly (I'm sorry to not list your name, I can't read your signature). The Tacoma was detailed thoroughly, and after taking a picture with Jonathan, I was on my way back to Charlottesville with a smile across my face! Start to finish, my experience at Steven Toyota was the simplest and friendliest dealership experience I've ever had. I feel confident not only does this dealership have staff that are inviting and patient answering countless questions (from buyers like me), but that I also received the best deal the area (with a very large search radius) had to offer. I absolutely would refer anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle to go to Steven Toyota. More
