I was referred by a family member because the overall excellence in every area of the dealership they experienced seemed to good to be true. So I decided to check it out for myself. From the moment I made contact, every individual went above and beyond my expectations. They met all of my needs and not only did they get me the exact car I wanted, but one with all the upgrades at a price that was unbeatable. Thats what you call a win win situation. I have never been more pleased in my life. I truly felt like family working with everyone in the dealership. I am already referring friends and it's a guarantee that I will be back in the future! My husband and I just had our son and were looking to upgrade our vehicle to one with a little more room than our small car. We had been looking for about 2 months at different dealerships. We had a certain price range that we did not want to go over. We started off looking at the Nissan Rogue and the Mitsabishi Outlander. While we were in Staunton we went to the toyota place there. We saw the Highlander and immediately fell in love. The guys there were very friendly but could not get it to the price we needed. My husband explained to me that it was out of our price range and we would go look at the Mitsabishi and the Nissan again. Both were nice vehicles but neither had the room that we wanted. While in Harrisonburg on a Sunday I asked my husband if we could stop in at Steven Toyota just for a minute to look at the Highlanders that they had. We figured that they would not be open since it was Sunday so we would just do a drive through. I told him I just wanted to see them and dream! He finally gave in after much convincing! When we drove in my husband saw that they were actually open. He told me not to get out of the car because there was no point in wasting their time when we couldn't afford the Highlander anyway. As we drove through I saw that they had two in a beautiful blue color! We drove out and went to do some grocery shopping. I kept telling my husband how much I loved the color. I guess I finally annoyed him enough and he asked me if I wanted to go and see what they could do for us. It was already 4pm and I figured that they would be closing at 5pm. We hurried out of the store and back to Steven Toyota. We got out and looked at the Highlanders. Kendall came up to us all decked out in his bowtie with a smile on his face and asked if he could help us. We asked him if we could get our car appraised before they closed, but if it was getting to late we would come back another day. He was so sweet and courteous telling us it was not a problem he would stay as long as we needed him to. He lead us in to the building and began filling out paperwork on our car. It took maybe 20 minutes before they had completed the appraisal. We were not completely satisfied with the number they had given us for our car. Kendall said he would go and see what else they could do for us. After several times of running Kendall back and forth to the office they came up with a number that satisfied both me and my husband. The sales manager, Matthew Francisco came out and talked to us. He was also very friendly and courteous. He was willing to work with us in every way he could. We told him where we wanted to be for our monthly payment and he made that happen! We did not make the purchase that night because we had our son with us. I still wanted to test drive it before we made any commitments. My husband could not get off work before they closed until Wednesday, but I decided to go back with my mother on Monday to see what she thought of it. Kendall came out to see us and show us around the vehicle. My mother loved it just as much as I did. She even commented on how pleasant Kendall was. On Wednesday my husband and I returned to take it for a test drive. Unfortunately our babysitter fell through. We had to take our son with us. I was afraid that they would not allow us to put a car seat in their nice new vehicle, but Kendall was so sweet about it and told us that it was not a problem. He went along with us on our drive and pointed out several things that I had not even noticed. When we got back we made the deal and they fixed up the paperwork for us. Everything was done in a timely manner. I had to be at work by 430pm and they were so thoughtful trying to move as quickley as they could. We are extremely satisfied with our new Highlander! If they had not been open on that Sunday and willing to stay past closing I probably would not be driving a Toyota. I would recommend them to anyone! Keep up the excellent work! More
WE WENT TO STEVEN TOYOTA DEALERSHIP BECAUSE WE HAD HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE ON A PREVIOUS PURCHASE AT THAT DEALERSHIP.OUR INTENT WAS NOT TO PURCHASE A CAR BUT TO START LOOKING FOR A NEW CAR.CHRIS APPROACHED US GOOD EXPERIENCE ON A PREVIOUS PURCHASE AT THAT DEALERSHIP.OUR INTENT WAS NOT TO PURCHASE A CAR BUT TO START LOOKING FOR A NEW CAR.CHRIS APPROACHED US ON THE SALES LOT AND FROM THE BEGINNING, HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND CURTIOUS. EVENTHOUGH WE EXPLAINED THAT WE WERE JUST STARTING TO LOOK AT CARS, HE ANSWERED OUR QUESTIONS, LET US TEST DRIVE SEVERAL VEHICLES AND SPENT SEVERAL HOURS WITH US COMPARING DIFFERENT OPTIONS. HE IS AN EXCELLENT SALES PERSON AS HE DID NOT PRESSURE US INTO BUYING A VEHICLE. WE WILL RETURN TO STEVEN TOYOTA AGAIN WHEN WE ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW CAR. AND YES, WE DID PURCHASE A TOYOTA CAMRY FROM CHRIS. More

Ron was very nice and helpful. He answered all my questions and provided me with more information about the Prius. Ron also offered multiple times to help me collect stuff from my old car and ending up saving the day - by the time I was home, I realized I had left a parking permit in my old car and called him and he said he already took care of it and sure enough, it was in my new Prius. Price was the only main concern as to how much more money I will put into the Hemi Limited Jeep. It has a good bit of miles and I expect for more costs to come soon. Scary thing is that as soon as I got home and parked the vehicle in the garage, my wife went out to start it and take it for a test drive, it wouldn't start...there was no coolant in the tank and there might have been a sensor on it because I have never seen a vehicle not start due to the coolant? As soon as coolant was added, it started right up...weird!? Like I said, I know that I will soak some money into a used higher mileage vehicle, however knowing that and not coming off the price was a little disturbing. On the other flip side, I really only had about 24 hours to purchase the vehicle as they were about to take it to an auction. Everyone (especially Chris) was very friendly and great to work with. I wish him the absolute best as he continues to grow with the car business. More

I just wanted to take a minute to talk about the great experience my husband and I had at Steven Toyota. My mom told us about Steven Toyota-she actually bought a Venza from them just last month. I was driving a car on its last leg and we were also looking for something that was easier to get and out of with a baby on board. We drove the 2011 Toyota Sienna and LOVED it. Its perfect for our needs and its just what we were looking for. Ron Pleasant was great to work with, he was up front about the vehicles history and what our options were. We don't have the best credit in the world and he did a great job getting us the best deal possible. We really felt like he took care of us and the next time someone we know is looking for a car, we would send them straight to him! More
