The service provided in getting my new car was quite painless and relatively quick. I felt I was treated fairly, and Travis' attention to the whole transaction was very professional and courteous. Getting a new car is always a bit traumatic, but Steven Toyota and its staff (and especially Travis) made the experience quite painless. More

When I 2011 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 crew cab TRD T/X Pro My first Toyota was purchased from Steven Toyota 13 years ago. It was a Tacoma pickup truck. When I decided to sell the truck a few weeks ago I knew what I wanted and stopped into Steven Toyota once again. I explained to my salesman Matt Milam the specific truck I wanted and they had to search to find one. I received a call from Cory Sodikoff the sales manager that evening at 8:00 that Matt had driven all the way to West Virginia and picked up the truck I wanted. The next day I stopped by to check it out and they had it all ready to test drive. Matt took the time to go over all the new features of the new truck...remember my old Tacoma was 13 years old and didn't have any of the new features and safety equipment the new trucks have so it was nice to have someone explain everything! After returning we talked price and it was the most painless negotiation I have ever experienced buying a car. Before I knew it Matt had swapped the tags from my old Tacoma and took care of everything. The guys were even nice enough to follow me home with my old truck so I didn't have to make a trip back and pick it up! I own a small business in Harrisonburg an know what it means to get good customer service, something rare these days. I love the fact that Steven Toyota is a family owned and operated local business. Thanks to the entire Sodikoff family for their help getting me in this new truck, and Matt Milam for his fantastic job at making the transaction so quick and effortless! I don't just have a new Toyota Tacoma, I have a Steven Toyota Tacoma and I'm very proud of that! Regards, Keith Trevvett Harrisonburg, Va. More

This is the second auto that we have leased in the past several months from Steven Toyota and each experience has been outstanding. We were treated with respect and they showed great knowledge in each car several months from Steven Toyota and each experience has been outstanding. We were treated with respect and they showed great knowledge in each car and worked with us according to our budget. They were all so nice and went out of their way to make us comfortable and took a great deal of time answering our questions. The customer service was the best and we will continue to lease our cars from Steven Toyota. We picked up a nail in the new truck one day after leaving the dealership and they we wonderful and exceeded our expectations with the care and service that we received. The service dept ( Matthew Sodikoff was wonderful. I will return from a new lease in three years and have already referred other family members to this dealership. More

Rude dealership which misrepresented themselves. Owner Steven Sodikoff and his son Cory Sodikoff need a reality check. I'm the customer and I don't have to buy from you. Tony Soprano is a fictional charac Steven Sodikoff and his son Cory Sodikoff need a reality check. I'm the customer and I don't have to buy from you. Tony Soprano is a fictional character and a car dealer in a small town of Harrisonburg can't act like a NY mobster. I contacted Steven Toyota through the Internet. I was emailed back by Lindsey Sodikoff setting up a time for me to come in and look at cars. When I arrived to the dealership parking was a problem as the spaces provided for customer parking had random vehicles in them and one other costumer vehicle. So after driving around I finally parked in the service parking in the back. When I went up front to the showroom I had to wait around for Lindsay Sodikoff. Though as I found out I heard her loudly laughing and joking around in the office for more than ten minutes before she came out. She handed me off to a salesperson to look at the new camry's. As we sat down to talk about the price Lindsay was in the showroom again and as I went to say hi I was introduced to Ryan Sodikoff. Ryan was very rude and was annoyed with me asking about how the Internet pricing worked with the negotiation. He seemed more interested in his lunch plans with Lindsay. When I told the salesperson I wanted the price clearly posted on the Internet he took it to the manager. This is when Cory Sodikoff came out and sat down. Cory is the sales manager or something there. He said there was a misprint on the Internet price and said he could offer me $500 off of the sticker price. I calmly said that I wanted the posted price and offered that it was a fair price as the invoice on the car as posted by Kelly Blue Book was within $200.00. He said I didn't know what I was talking about and the Internet had all kind of wrong things on it. I find the way Cory Sodikoff talks to a customer to be an issue and his lack of knowledge about the Camry and what information a customer can find online to be appalling. Shouldn't you at least know about your own product as the Sales Manager of a dealership that your daddy owns? I called back after leaving to talk to the owner about my experience. After days of being sent to his voicemail with no returned calls I gave up. To this day have not gotten a returned call. Steven Sodikoff should spend less time making TV ads and more time making sure the customers that do show up are not treated badly by his kids and staff. More
I went in to help my grandparents look for a used veh. we arrived there and everyone acted like they were so busy but in reality they were just standing around. i made an internet appt. and was being helped arrived there and everyone acted like they were so busy but in reality they were just standing around. i made an internet appt. and was being helped by "buzz". We wanted to look at a 2006 ford taurus with 31k on the clock. We looked at the veh and took it for a test drive. First thing I got in the veh i could tell somethings were wrong. 1. the shifter handle on the transmission had excessive play in it. ( a tall tail sign that the transmission had been removed) 2. put it in gear the the markings to tell you what gear your in are not lining up correctly ( refer to above statement ) 3. the transmission sliped badly twice so after test driving the veh we returned back to the dealership and the salesman asked how we liked it and how a great car it was and well i told him it did not go well at all I informed him that the transmission has been removed and replaced and some point in time. Well "buzz" proceeds to get an attidude with me and ask how do i know this. So i informed him and he was not happy. He became extremly agressive with me and my 70 yr old grandparents and told us we could just buy a new veh. well thats when i lost it and told him off and asked them what kind of product are they trying to sell people here. I mean this car had serious problems with it. We ended up telling him for pound sand and left the dealership. I will tell everyone never to visit this company or buy anything from them because they will try to take advantage of people who don't know what to look for. I am an ASE certified tech and service consultant and it was apparent that "Buzz" did not see the bright white patches on my sleeve!!! More
Let me tell you, this dealership is S-H-A-D-Y! It's good to see others' poor ratings of Steven Toyota because I am getting tired of seeing people get taken by their underhanded sales gimmicks. I don't under to see others' poor ratings of Steven Toyota because I am getting tired of seeing people get taken by their underhanded sales gimmicks. I don't understand why they remain so popular. Apparently people aren't taking a good look at what they're paying for. Tell me how selling a used car for 130% of its retail value is acceptable. It's unbelievable, and it happens more than you'd like to know. I think the worst scenario I saw was someone looking to purchase a 2002 Nissan Sentra that was worth about $9000 and they were asking $17000! I also know that they silently tack on extended warranties to unsuspecting customers, often the ones who don't speak English. This puts them thousands of dollars upside down on the vehicle as soon as they take it off the lot. One customer went back to complain that they were never disclosed what they were signing, and the employee basically told them that due to their stupidity, that sales person won a free cruise for meeting his sales goals. I know of people who have initially gone to Steven Toyota as sales people but eventually quit because their practices were so immoral. More
Was looking for a deal on a new truck. The two dealers I had gone to already as part of buying a Tacoma had been very nice and were easily willing to move on the price. I also wanted information of having s had gone to already as part of buying a Tacoma had been very nice and were easily willing to move on the price. I also wanted information of having some extra's installed and Steven Toyota was by FAR the most expensive. Cory was rude and arrogant and getting prices on the extra's was like a painful sunburn and took two hours for what I thought were simple things. Ended up buying at Mcdonough Toyota 20 mins away with a much better experience. I don't understand treating customers like crap just because they are from out of the area and are not likely to do service there. You are a new car store not a service station. More
When I bought my truck there was a set amount I was will to pay and a set amount I wanted for my trade-in. They said no problem for the cost of the truck but got the run around on the trade in. They aid t to pay and a set amount I wanted for my trade-in. They said no problem for the cost of the truck but got the run around on the trade in. They aid they would lose 1500 on my trade in and could not go any lower. I left the store and sold the old truck myself for 2000 more then I wanted for trade in. I later went back and requested the 1500 they were going to lose on the trade in. After all but admitting they were playing games on the losing 1500 they agreed to take 1250 off the price I was willing to pay before they tried to play games with me. The bottom line. If you are smart you can see through their games and get a good deal. I was happy and feel like I ended up 3250 better off. If you are looking for a low haggle place this may not be for you. Expect old school car sales here but in this information age it's a level playing field. More
