I ordered a custom built model 330e. I meant to order it with the self-driving feature, but I didn't check the right box, and my car didn't have it. I wanted to exchange it but they said I meant to order it with the self-driving feature, but I didn't check the right box, and my car didn't have it. I wanted to exchange it but they said my only option would be to trade the first car in for a second model. I said I would---but they only paid me $39K for the trade-in. I'd paid $54K for the first model, including sales tax and fees. At this point I said I no longer wanted the second model, but as far as they were concerned the deal was done, and I was out $15K for...nothing. They refused to refund me the sales tax or the fees for the first model, which amounted to about $5K. I made repeated efforts to discuss this via email and phone, and got no response. they refused to discuss. The sales manager's name was Peter. Nobody would tell me his last name. Stevens Creek BMW is NOT your friend. They're out to rip you off. More
