Thanks for your response. I'm happy to say that my dealership did "make it right," but only because of my due diligence. After being told that the replacement window for my vehicle was very hard to get, I decided to call another dealership (much farther away). That service person connected me to parts to check availability, & their parts person said they could get it by the next morning. I then decided to call my dealership's parts dept. to see what they said about availability (the original service person did not do that) & he also said it would be available the next morning. They rebooked my appt. & loaner, so I was able to get my new window on the scheduled day, but it took a lot of work & phone calls to make that happen. I'm thankful that I was able to get it done, but it does seem like the original service person I talked to was very uninformed.
