I asked her specifically before I signed. " Is this required ? Her reply was YES, you need gap ins. Went to my bank ( the lender ) and inquired about this. The loan officer"s reply was NO. It was not needed. My feeling. I was getting suckered into a $3000 additional expense. Wife and and I had a chat with her when I came in with the $ down. We signed the papers to cancel . It had better be that way when the first payment is due.That stuff rubs me every which wrong! And is part of the reason that Car dealerships have the rep that they do. Did Stevenson not make enough $ on my 35,000 purchase! More
