Respectful and Empowering So, this is my first official “brand” new car buying experience. And really the first I had without someone else buying with me. And I can honestly say walking away from Stevenson, that I felt respected and listened to the entire process. My husband and I dropped off his Toyota to be worked on, and we were just curious at the inside and specs of a RAV4. We were given space and allowed to look, and then checked up on... once we had a few questions Mike was there to clarify and compare the differing models of the rav4. He listened to where our family was with needs, gave us a test drive and informed us of what the price was for the car we drove. He wasn’t pushy at keeping us there, or having us make a purchase that day. He followed up with me but didn’t harass me... and best of all, he knew that he was doing business with me. A woman. He never once said to me first about discussing it with my husband, unless I brought up the necessity. Which, so many people think that if there is a big purchase than the man is doing the deciding. This was not the case with Mike. I was given options and information and then never belittled or made to self doubt that my decision was wrong... unlike other dealers that make you do so in order to get a bigger sale. That is even including the gentleman in finance/paperwork! I really do appreciate these guys and I can honestly say my car is perfect and I am so happy that I choose to work with Stevenson West. They provided good information to help us chose to lease rather than purchase. One of the most important aspects of our experience was the pricing and clarity in what stevinson could do for us. Several other dealers seemed to have more conpetitive prices during initial discussions, but when estimates were provided in writing, the true costs increased and were much less appealing. Stevinson honored a very late discount we learned of, and provided us a final pricing that worked for us. Financing was easy enough. The only complaint I have is that it was not as straightforward as we hoped to get good info on extended warranty and various vehicle protection options. This was done largely during the finance process, despite some of these add-ones having potentially large impact on the overall cost of the vehicle. More

Ellison and I were not able to do a deal on the initial vehicle I wanted, but he stayed in touch and had good follow through without being overbearing or annoying. I was able to do the bulk of negotiating my deal via electronic means which was very helpful as my time is at premium running my own business. The trade in value I got and the pricing on the truck I purchased I felt was fair and when I got to the table the numbers we had discussed didn't magically change as I've seen them do with other dealers. The total process was easily the fastest I have ever experienced as well. More
