I have purchased 3 cars from you in the last 15 years. Two years ago I went to purchase a 4th Toyota Prius from your company but you were only willing to give me 3 grand for the 2010 Toyota Prius I purch Two years ago I went to purchase a 4th Toyota Prius from your company but you were only willing to give me 3 grand for the 2010 Toyota Prius I purchased from your company 5 years prior. The car had 89,000 miles and was in good condition. I went to another Toyota dealer and bought a 2015 Certified Prius with 31K miles which dealer gave me 7K for my Trade in Prius. Yesterday, I spoke to Andre Wood, a sales rep at your store (supposedly a top rehire), about purchasing a 2021 Prius ( He thought the 2 cars he was going to show me were 2020 Prius') with my trade in: 2015 Prius, 46,000 miles, and not a scratch inside or outside with one year old tires. Looking at Kelly Blue Book value for a certified car of that sort, Fair Market Range $13,343-$16,982, which I am sure for the car being like new you would ask substantially more than the upper value. When I tried to bargain on the trade in, Andre Wood told me you would only offer me $10K for the car and would only budge a few hundred dollars upwards on that trade in value. I was ready to buy, but not again with people who are not willing to seriously deal on a car which I let Mr. Wood know before I began the purchase process. It's interesting your sales have recovered to the point you can turn away business over a few thousand dollars. Unfortunate because I loved dealing with your past sales people like Mark Land(? not sure of last name... he retired from Stevinson). Regretfully, Paul Lukosi P.S. When it came time to purchase a new car, I headed to Stevinson. Graham Goguen could not have been more patient, informative, and professional. He made sure, when I decided on a different color, that he got the car for me. He contacted me immediately, after a number of hours of waiting, to let me know the car was on its way. He was also training Mallory, who was very much engaged in the process, and was very helpful in providing information about the car. Would definitely recommend Stevinson Toyota. More
