When you have a problem customer service is lacking I test drove a toyota 4 runner and was interested in the vehicle but the car wobbled at high speeds. Assuming the tires needed to be balanced, Aaron Wester, said he would have the service department take a look at it and instructed me to come back tomorrow to test drive again. I came back the following evening, in the dark, to test drive the vehicle and the wobble was gone. Having never bought a car from a dealership before, Aaron assured me of the multi point inspection that was performed on every vehicle. He also commented on the tires saying they looked in great shape. I purchased the vehicle and drove it my sister's house as we were planning to leave in a few hours for vacation. When I returned home from my trip my sister and I looked over the vehicle again and I noticed the tires looked....older, but wasn't sure there was anything I could do about it at that point. It wasn't until I took my car in for an oil change and they refused to rotate the tires due to dry rot and poor tread. I called Aaron to see what, if anything, they would consider doing. I honestly didn't have many expectations since I had already owned the vehicle a while but he told me he would speak with his supervisor and would call me back. Two days later and still no return phone call, I called him again. He told me his supervisor was off and then he was off so he planned to talk to him the following week. Four days into the next week and still no call so I called him and left him a message. Another 2 days go by with no call, and I'm pretty certain at this point he is screening my calls so I left him another message. Still no call back so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I ended up talking to Mike, the service manager, who told me to to bring my vehicle down to have the tread depth measured saying they don't replace anything above 3/32 tread depth. I complied, the measurements were taken with three tires at 5/32 and one tire 4/32 and he said they wouldn't do anything since tread wear was greater than 3/32 standard they use to replace tires. ( *the following is copied from discount tire's website*....For your safety, we recommend replacing any tire having a tread depth of 4/32" or less.According to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, a vehicle with one or more tires at 4/32” or less tread depth is significantly more likely to be involved in a tire-related crash.Wet traction diminishes, hydroplaning increases.Snow traction diminishes.) Ironically, Aaron Wester gave me some sob story about how well they treat their customers because he was once taken advantage of by a broker friend that sold him a car and, "I would never do that," but then proceeded to do just that. It really shouldn't surprise me then that he lied to me on both occasions when I spoke to him on the phone and never even bothered to return my call (by the way, this all happened over 1.5 months ago....still no call.) instead assuring me he would talk to his supervisor. If you're gonna stand behind poor customer service, Aaron, as least have the decency to tell me so I don't have to waste more of my time. So, I guess be aware that this dealership will sell you a vehicle with tires at a tread depth that isn't suitable for driving according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and my advice to anyone buying a vehicle from this dealership is....don't. More

One of my concerns was being able to fit my three largish dogs in the cargo area, so Peter offered to let me load the dogs in the car and drive it home to show my teenage son. My son and my dogs gave their approval! Another concern was to make sure the vehicle had a remote tailgate lift. Peter was diligent in finding a car that met that requirement. The purchasing process did take several hours, but I feel I was treated fairly through the entire transaction. The only difficulties were minor - missing second key, missing the owner's manual, missing the floor mats... but Peter is helping to correct the minor issues. Overall, very happy with my RAV4 and the experience at Stevinson. More

Though he wasn’t aware of it at the time, I had never before purchased a car from a dealer and was rather intimidated. However he right away put me at ease, made me comfortable with the process, and was very patient with my many questions. From the beginning of our interactions Michael was straightforward, listened to what I wanted, and was helpful and attentive to every detail. He was careful to stay within my stated parameters and didn’t try to push me into a more expensive model, which would have pushed me right out the door. Throughout the entire process he was upright and honest, professional, yet personable and down to earth. He saw the transaction through to the end, going over the workings of the car with me before I pulled away from the curb, freshly detailed, and the tank full of gas. Since the purchase he has followed through on service options, making sure all terms are being met as agreed, and has continued to make himself available for any possible questions or concerns.
