Good Deal, Smooth Purchase The sales associate listened to my needs and didn't waste my time with vehicles outside of those requirements. I had a lot of questions about the deal The sales associate listened to my needs and didn't waste my time with vehicles outside of those requirements. I had a lot of questions about the dealer certification process and policy for used vehicles, which he was able to answer in detail. Dealer is very customer centric with sales bonuses based on number of vehicles sold, not on commission or profitability of each sale. Very trustworthy bunch of people here. More
Absolute sham of a service center! No longer a customer. Took my 2008 Tacoma in for a recall rear spring replacement. Upon arrival I was told by the service rep that it was going to cost at least $125 for labor and another $60 in parts due to the lift that had been installed on my vehicle. It is a block lift that literally requires the exact same count of nuts, bolts, and brackets. None of which are any different than the OEM install. The Stevinson service center wanted $125 to simply set two 1.5 inch blocks aside and put them back during install of the new springs. The U-bolts are only a few months old but their claim was they needed to be replaced at $60. So this safety recall was going to cost $185 plus tax and whatever else they would find needed fixing which, based on this experience, would likely have been more. The service rep tried to explain that it was going to be a minimum 1 hour to "remove all the aftermarket lift parts" before they could get to the actual replacement. I was confused as the only additional parts are the two blocks that require zero effort to remove/install so her statement is factually untrue. Google what a block lift is and you'll laugh as I did given the effort and work required is similar to moving large washers resting on the axle. I asked them to simply give me the springs and I'd put them on myself and they refused. Very disappointed in this experience as I wanted the work done before a road trip next week. I will schedule an appointment with another dealer who confirmed Stevinson was charging for something that was not necessary in terms of parts and offered that the labor fee was ridiculous. They also confirmed that new U-bolts are not required especially without an inspection. Three other dealerships confirmed the same and offered to order the parts and put me on the schedule. I'll do that when I get back versus getting ripped off, without even taking a look at the vehicle. I do apologize for offending the service rep with my harsh words that she "don't appreciate." She is correct and I should not have called the situation "is the dumbest thing I have ever heard." It was more ignorance on her part than a dumb situation. Regardless; Stevinson needs to consider that, like many families, my three vehicles returning for regular service is worth far more than ripping me off once for $185 plus tax. I will never recommend Stevinson service department. More
Memorable, easy My mom and I were welcomed and supported the whole time to make the right decision for our needs. Having bought my previous car from Stevinson Toyota My mom and I were welcomed and supported the whole time to make the right decision for our needs. Having bought my previous car from Stevinson Toyota, it was my first stop for car buying. Adam did everything in his power to make it a positive and financially affordable decision for us and to make sure that their prices were the most competitive with other dealerships we were thinking about going to. He really demonstrated that we came first by helping us get a good deal on the car we were selling as well as finding a new car. We were thrilled by our experience and know where we will go next time we buy/sell a car. Thanks Adam and Stevinson Toyota! More
