Tony was patient with all of my questions and he took plenty of time to explain everything so clearly to me. Mostly I appreciated that Tony was not a high pressure sales person. Typically that will send me out the door, but there was no pressure at all from Tony. I have always gone to Stevinson Toyota for service but this was my first experience buying a car there. I've purchased many cars in the past, but this was by far my best experience. Thank you Tony! More

Mark Land was wonderful - he explained the options on the various models and did not pressure us at all. I went home later that day to do a little more research on the vehicle, its options and pricing, and found that Stevinson had exactly what I wanted for the best price available. One week later, I was back to purchase the Highlander (which thankfully, was still available). Mark helped make the process as smooth as possible, even though we had to juggle the paperwork portion between chasing a 1-year old around the showroom. AJ Brownlee in finance was also incredibly helpful throughout the process and also one week later when I brought the vehicle back for the clearcoat application. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. More

Went looking at other dealers, wondering if there was something that could beat a Toyota Prius. There were a few makers with style-comparable cars but the quality, reliability, and MPG didn't reach my bar. And the other dealers were surprisingly uneducated with their products. Nope - nothing came close to Toyota quality, the Prius, or the dealers at Stevinson. Josh Ross listened yet taught me a few things I didn’t know about the Prius (I’ve followed the car since inception). I knew in 10 minutes that this was going to be the last dealer, the last test drive. Josh knew Prius history, current specs, and where it's going. So, after doing my homework, visiting numerous other dealers, and driving other makes; a 2014 Prius is our 3rd car from Stevinson Toyota West. And the 2014 Prius - oh my gosh - is wonderful. Great improvements in performance and convenience. Well, the sliding tray in the center console is no longer provided; the work-around is in progress. More

On my first visit, I was just interested in finding out about a new RAV4 and taking it for Otis Plant is not your typical high pressure car salesman. On my first visit, I was just interested in finding out about a new RAV4 and taking it for a testdrive as my wife has one of the orginal RAV's and has had very good reliability. Otis had excellent answers to my questions and didn't pressure me when I was ready to leave. Afterwards my wife and I felt like this is a guy that you wouldn't mind working with. Over a week later I was getting closer to deciding and I needed to make a second visit to do another testdrive and was able to take a RAV4 for several hours and get a good feel for how it handled and compared to the other vehicles that I was considering. Otis gave me some no haggle prices to consider before leaving without any pressure, as I was still considering my options. Later, after doing my homework Otis and I made a deal over the phone, which I believe was less than the invoice price. Also, I believe I got a fair value on my trade-in and Kendall Janak was a pleasure to visit with when completing the financing. More

I did a lot of "internet" homework beforehand as I live in a small mountain town. I was in town for business and thought I would start the process. I never dreamed that I would be driving home in a new car! Anthony was so great to work with. He really listened to what I wanted and did his best to accommodate. This was the most painless car buying experience I have ever been through. Anthony was matter-of-fact, helpful, and very patient with my questions and concerns. Overall it was a great experience. I would like to start off by thanking the staff for the pleasant experience I had purchasing my first vehicle. This was the first time I ever even attempted to purchase a new car and the sales person who assisted me over the space of a few months was phenomenal! Anthony made my purchasing experience not only an enjoyable one but a fulfilling experience with no buyers remorse. If I were to have one suggestion it would be to clone Anthony. He really was an awesome sales person and never once did I feel like he was trying to force or convince me into anything that I didn't want to do. Anthony worked with from day 1 and anytime I had even the slightest request, he would go out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. Thank you for everything Anthony. Deb was my finance manager and I must say she is really good at her job. She is a very nice lady and truly does know the in's and out's of the finance world. However, there was an issue that was caused by her lack of transparency when it came to financing the vehicle. The whole issue could have been completely avoided if she had been a little more upfront about everything. However, I cannot put the blame fully on her shoulders. What happened was I originally was going to put $4,000 down for my Camry but when I went to the financing portion of the buying process I asked if I could lower the deposit to $1,000 in exchange for a higher monthly payment. She said that was not a problem. Here is where the transparency issue came from. After lowering my deposit I had asked Deb no fewer than 3 times if I was already approved. I mainly kept asking because I was unsure of how the whole buying process continued from that point forth. Each and every time I asked, Deb assured me that I was "already approved". She told me that Toyota had already approved my loan through their own financial department but would continue to shop around to possibly get me a lower interest rate. I then came to find out a few days later via a telephone call that I no longer owned my car and was on a 5 year lease. Deb also informed me that she needed me to come in for a second time and sign some more documents. The following Monday I went back into Toyota at her request and while I was in the meeting with her, I asked why I was told that I was already approved when in reality that was the farthest thing from the truth. She then deflected my question and continued on with the paperwork. I then asked what would it take for me to be approved for the car loan rather than just a lease. She informed me that I would have needed to put a larger down payment on the car. Once I heard that I was pretty upset to say the least. Not only was I assured I was approved when I asked numerous times during our first meeting but I originally had the funds needed to gain approval on the car loan. If Deb would have been more transparent I would have kept the original down payment that I had originally planned to and would actually own my car. Instead, I was lied to and by time the second meeting with Deb came around. I had already allocated the other $3,ooo to a second investment opportunity with no way to back out reclaim ownership of my car. So because of the lack of transparency on Deb's part I no longer own my first car and I am fairly upset by that. I feel as that I do need to repeat that Deb is an extremely nice and helpful lady and very good at her job, I just hope that in the future she is more transparent with people in order to avoid the situation I went through. Stevenson's Toyota overall did a wonderful job despite the set back and I would recommend Stevenson Toyota, Anthony, and Deb to anyone looking to buy a new car. More
Either buying a house or car are usually the same experience BUT not here! My wife and I were very specific on what type of car, features and color. We also added the fact that we do not want to be pressured to buy all the "add-ons" by the finance person... In fact, we really weren't in the market to buy a new car, Friday night we drove, by noon the next day, we own a new Toyota. No pressure from anyone, in fact by just having a "can do" attitude and the ease of business was key in closing the deal with us. I staged the conversation with our Hugh Fitzpatrick (our Sales person), to have my wife in and out of the financial process within or less than 1 hour, no exceptions. 50 minutes including one more test drive of the soon to be owned car! Because they made my wife so happy and the ease of business, we have shifted our focus on buying another vehicle specifically from Hugh and Stevinson. Great Job Hugh! More
