Frank had been there less than a week. If I were still in sales, I would steal him. While on the show floor, I set off an alarm. Of the 4 salesmen standing around, looking at me like I was a dummy, Fran in sales, I would steal him. While on the show floor, I set off an alarm. Of the 4 salesmen standing around, looking at me like I was a dummy, Frank jumped forward to relieve my embarrassment. He became my presenter. We checked out Sequoias, but they were not the ticket. I asked him about Land Cruisers, but I thought they were too expensive. He asked about a used one. Well, we now own a 2009 Land Cruiser (Maroon). What a beauty! This young man knows his products. He has an outgoing personality that includes a smile, and a professional manner of presenting the facts that is not condescending nor pushy. Any questions we had he got the answers immediately. At 75, I have purchased 38 vehicles, both new and used. He knows his "stuff". After several hours and observing the other sales people, I would consider Frank to be my sales trainer. More
My recent experience with this dealership changed my rating from a 4 to a 1. If there was a 0 rating available I would assign it in a heartbeat. This is a long read but it accurately reflects my experi rating from a 4 to a 1. If there was a 0 rating available I would assign it in a heartbeat. This is a long read but it accurately reflects my experiences with Stevinson. I bought a new 2010 Tacoma from this dealership about two and a half years ago. I didn't get a great deal on it and experienced many of the typical shady tactics mentioned in the other reviews here. However, I walked out with a payment I could afford and the truck I had been longing for, so overall the experience was positive. I moved to California shortly after buying the vehicle and began to have several issues with the brakes. Nothing major, but they felt sluggish and made loud "singing" noises when coming to a stop. I took it to several Toyota dealerships in California, but none of them were "able to replicate the issues," even though they would seem to stop for about a week after taking the truck in. A nuisance, but by no means unbearable. I moved back to Colorado in June of this year still happy overall with the truck. In early August I received a call from someone in the "management" group at Stevinson saying they had several customers interested in my vehicle and was told that I could trade it in for a 2012 model while maintaining the same payments or perhaps even lowering them. It sounded like a scam initially, but since my credit had improved I figured it would be worth at least exploring the numbers with them. I was given an appointment with one of the sales reps the following Saturday. I live a ways from the dealership now so I set aside my entire Saturday afternoon for the meeting. My girlfriend and I showed up at the dealership right on time and asked for the rep I had been referred to. After around 10 minutes he finally came over to greet us and asked us what he could do for us. I told him about the meeting and was given a funny look in return. He wasn't at all aware of the meeting but took us to his desk anyway. I mentioned the call I had received the previous week and that seemed to spark his memory. He said that the "management" individual had been trying to help him out and that she was going to get $25 just for me showing up, with another $25 if I bought a vehicle. He searched through his desk for a few minutes and came up with the note she had scribbled for him as well as the information on my vehicle. Here's where it got interesting. I told him that the only vehicle I would be interested in would be the similar version of my 2010, meaning all of the same features, trim, etc. After his computer crashed twice, he finally started looking through the inventory and couldn't come up with a match, but was confident he could get one from another local dealer. I asked him if we could just pick a similar price so we could get down to the numbers. He and his manager took a look at my truck and went to determine the value. 10 minutes later they came back with a number $8000 less than what I was expecting. They claimed that the Denver market wasn't what I thought it was. After going back and forth several times they finally came to a value about $4000 less than what I wanted, but I agreed to move on to the monthly payments so I could get a feel for where we were. I told them what my current payment was (with 48 months left on the loan) and asked for a lower number, even if that meant going up to 60 months. They came back with a payment $100 higher than my current at 75 months! This was without any rebates or special financing offers. Not to mention a very high APR for how good my credit is. I told them that it was absolutely not acceptable and they just shrugged and said it was the best they could do. They wouldn't budge one bit. I've been a part of several car purchases and this was by far a first for me. I had shown up ready to buy a 2012 and left very upset that my afternoon had been a complete waste. So I went straight to the Groove Ford dealership and traded in my Tacoma at the price I was looking for, and I bought a fully loaded 2012 Fusion SEL (priced about the same as the Tacoma we were looking at) with $4000 in rebates and 0% APR, lowering my monthly payments by nearly $150. So, to recap, Stevinson Toyota called me and said they wanted to buy my 2 year old truck. I took my entire Saturday afternoon only to show up without them expecting me. I was completely low-balled on both my trade-in value and the price of a new truck without as much as a "Sorry for wasting your time." Due to this experience I went and bought a nicer Ford at a much better price. If Stevinson calls asking you to consider a trade-in, don't even hesitate to tell them no. A complete and total scam. Thanks to that I will likely never purchase another Toyota. More

I request that this goes straight to the General Manager, and perhaps all the way to Ken Stevinson. How do I say enough good about Jami and Debbie? These two are top notch. Stevinson Toyota West is ex and perhaps all the way to Ken Stevinson. How do I say enough good about Jami and Debbie? These two are top notch. Stevinson Toyota West is extremely fortunate to have the two best in the industry working there. This was, by far, the best car buying experience I have ever had. Other dealerships advertise the best car buying experience, but there's no way their people can deliver as well as Jami and Debbie did last night. If I were a billionaire, I would be buying something new from Stevinson 2-3 times per month, just because of Jami and Debbie. They are the best and the brightest I have ever experienced at any dealership - or in any other industry. As far as I am concerned, Jami and debbie deserve special recognition for taking the initiative to be the best at what they do. Actual "Customer Service" is pretty rare these days; Jami and Debbie are part of an elite few, who have not forgotten the definition of "Cutomer Service". These two individuals should be setting the standard for every car dealership in the nation. M.R. Hansen Morrison, CO More

This is the 4th vehicle myself or my family has purchased from Ray. He is by far the best salesman I have ever worked with. He is attentive, friendly and patient. Plus a GREAT personality and personable!! from Ray. He is by far the best salesman I have ever worked with. He is attentive, friendly and patient. Plus a GREAT personality and personable!! I will continue to work with Ray for the years to come if possible. I also worked with Deb in Finance and she was great too! She was able to work my financing for me even after the guys in the "tower" actually turned me away. With her creative financing and repore with the lenders she was able to get me what I was looking for and beat the offer I had from my credit union. I don't have great credit and am aware of that but the idea of getting into a vehicle with a lower payment etc was part of my plan so that I can rebuild my credit. I would advise though that the guys who work the deals initially in running credit and so on be a little more receptive to those of us who don't have great credit because I had pretty much been told that I would not be approved and I left thinking that I wasn't going to be able to get a car, UNTIL I talked to Deb and she helped me out. Ray and Deb are awesome!!! I More
Sam was great to work with - I really felt comfortable the whole time, nice relaxed pace and conversation, no pressure to make a decision. When I trade this Tacoma for my next truck, I will ask for Sam. the whole time, nice relaxed pace and conversation, no pressure to make a decision.
