In shopping for a new truck, I visited several Denver area dealerships. My current truck was a Nissan, so I looked at the Frontier but I wasn't impressed with the interior room or some of the features so area dealerships. I went to two Toyota dealerships - one near my office (Mountain States) and one near my home (Stevinson). The staff at Mountain States was helpful and friendly but their selection of vehicles to meet my needs was extremely limited. The only remaining 2011 Tacoma on the lot was a manual transmission and with much of my driving being in town commuting, I needed an automatic. I worked with Will Jessup (Willie) at Stevinson. He met us on the lot but was never pushy. He asked if we needed and help and intelligently and graciously answered all of the stupid questions we asked. He got me out on a test drive and continued to answer questions and not be pushy. Negotiating the deal was relatively easy. There's still that 'got to talk to the sales manager' thing that all car dealers engage in but they did their best to get me a price that would work. Willie never made it feel like an inconvenience for him that I had a price that I needed to stick to. The finance session was free of the usual "buy some extras" bull that I hate. They offered and explained. I said "no" and they left it at that. I did have one glitch (completely my fault) with my trade-in. Because my ex-wife was still on the title (oops), the dealership had to work to get a signature from her in another city. They were real pros and took care of everything. They kept me posted about the process along the way but never did they make me feel like I had inconvenienced them - even though it was fully my oversight. I will be back at Stevinson. They're good people and that's what I'm looking for when I buy a vehicle. More

Both the service and sales groups were great to work with. They helped me weigh my options regarding new versus used vehicles, and the financing options for each. I needed to buy a car quickly to replace one that had been totaled in front of my house by a drunk driver. Sam picked up on my desire to just look at what he had available on his computer rather than wa been totaled in front of my house by a drunk driver. I chose one to see, liked it, liked the price Sam gave me, drove it and bought it. It was easy, and relatively fast - just what I needed. I purchased a 2008 Toyota 4Runner from Stevenson West Toyota in Lakewood, CO. Doriene Howe was the Sales Associate that helped me. Some specifics: during my initial visit, she showed me several 4Runners on the lot, none really interested me. Despite this, she did not try and sell me on anything. She was also very knowledgeable about the specifics of the vehicle. She told me she would keep an eye on future 4Runner inventory should another vehicle come along that specifically met my needs. Within a week Doriene emailed and called me saying the dealership had taken in a trade that she felt was the perfect vehicle for me. Turns out, she was correct. We negotiated a bit, came to an agreed price and completed the transaction rapidly. This was a no nonsense deal, no delays as the Sales Manager took unnecessary time, no high pressure closer, essentially no xx whatsoever. Same for the Finance Manager Ron (last name escapes me) he too was very professional. In sum, working with Doriene and Ron was the easiest , most expedient and I will have to say best car buying experience that I’ve ever had. Additionally, Doriene volunteered to contact the previous owner to obtain a few items (cargo net, rear luggage area cover, tow hitch) not delivered with the car, that’s service after the sale, something that can be rare these days.
