Horrible I own a 1998 volvo s70 the handle to the oil dipstick broke in order to get a working oil dipstick again I will have to replace the oil dipstick tube I own a 1998 volvo s70 the handle to the oil dipstick broke in order to get a working oil dipstick again I will have to replace the oil dipstick tube oil dipstick seal and the new oil dipstick the oil dipstick tube and seal is not broke or it is leaking just the handle is broke. I have super glued the handle but it will not last long because of the engine heat will make it come apart again. I have purchased an oil dipstick for a volvo 850 it does fit in there but it will give a false oil reading because the oil dipstick is a 1/4 inch longer. I have gotten a price the replace every thing to have a working dipstick it will cost 170 plus tax. I do not mind paying for the oil dipstick but the tube seal and labor i should not have to be paying because its not my fault that the design of the dipstick has changed. I have called the volvo corporate office.They told me to call the dealer.I have called the dealer.They told me to call the corporate office. I need a working dipstick. I should not have to be paying extra parts and labor just to have one. More
