The used car lots I tried to deal with from out of town were not this willing. I trusted that a new car dealership would do a thorough inspection of the car and not put it up for sale if there were problems with it. This is important when looking to buy a used car as old as the one I bought. Also, the car was priced right around market value, so I didn't feel the need to do any price haggling, as I would have if I had bought the car at most other places.
