Carlos was amazing. We found our car in a different state. We searched online and found the car at Stivers in Birmingham. I sent the request to the dealership, and Carlo We found our car in a different state. We searched online and found the car at Stivers in Birmingham. I sent the request to the dealership, and Carlos contacted me with a video and window sticker of the exact car. He met us with the car ready for a quick test drive. The sales experience was five stars. Then.... we met the finance guy, and the Ford beat-down began. We learned there is no incentive to pay cash. They 'want' you to go into debt. And, they 'really' want you to spend any money negotiated off the sticker price on extra warranty coverage. The finance guy was a more aggressive salesperson than Carlos. We were exhausted by the time we finished the paperwork. Five hours later, we left with the car. So... 5 Stars to Carlos + 1 Star to the Experience for an average of 3 stars to Stiver. Note to Stiver: If you change your process to include the conversation about extended warranty upfront, you will likely increase warranty sales and certainly improve the overall customer experience.
