Lost trust I brought my vehicle to a Ford Motor Company dealership on Saturday due to a knocking noise when braking. Daniel advised that I needed front brake pads but stated the rotors were fine “for now.” dealership on Saturday due to a knocking noise when braking. Daniel stated that Ford does not offer any guarantee on brake pads. I informed him that this information was provided by a previous Ford representative and is also listed on Ford’s website. He refused to review the website and instead contacted his manager, who also denied the existence of any such program—again without verifying against official Ford information. To confirm, I contacted Ford.com via chat, and the representative (Yenti) verified that the program does exist. I showed this confirmation to Daniel, and only then did he say he would follow up with his manager. Separately, I was told during my last service that my front rotors and front pads needed attention, while my rear brakes were fine. Based on that, I agreed to have the front pads replaced and rotors turned. I paid in cash and, unfortunately, did not review my receipt before leaving. Later, I discovered that the technician replaced my rear brakes instead—contrary to what was discussed and approved. This experience reflects poor communication, lack of product knowledge, and failure to verify accurate information—even when presented with it. More concerning is that work was performed that did not align with what was explained or authorized. I no longer have confidence in this location and will be filing a formal complaint. More
