The communication related to my car was poor. They only called me 1x in the 11 days they had my car. I called several times and left messages and didn't receive call backs. I apparently mistook a call likely from Ford Motor Co. to have been a follow-up by Stivers and acknowledged an appointment for this past Monday. I dropped my Ford Escape on Saturday to make sure my 7:0 to have been a follow-up by Stivers and acknowledged an appointment for this past Monday. I dropped my Ford Escape on Saturday to make sure my 7:00 AM appointment was available. I called to check on when I could pick up my car Monday early afternoon and was told by young lady at Stivers in Homewood it could take door lock recall several days pending availability of parts. Frustrated, I was told the contact name I had been given (probably by Ford was a tech named “Max”. Approximately a half hour later I received a callback from Stiver’s service specialist, “Stephen”. He told me he would fit me in and get the recall taken care of and have car ready for pickup same afternoon. I was very appreciative as I have been having extensive cancer treatment and my wife, with Parkinson’s needed to drive this car for her appointments. Car was ready by 5:00 PM same day and when I met “Stephen” he could not have been more caring and responsive. Great customer service, especially since I was wrong in thinking Stivers was had possibly not communicated with me properly in the first place. Turns out there was no “Max” in service department. Again, your facility is obviously first class, neat, and loaded with great customer service personnel. Especially, Stephen. More
