My review of my recent Subary Legacy Limited Edition purchas I have purchased two vehicles previously from Stohlman. One was in Oct. of 1992 when I bought a Mitsubishi 3000 GT SL and one was in Sept. of 2002 wh I have purchased two vehicles previously from Stohlman. One was in Oct. of 1992 when I bought a Mitsubishi 3000 GT SL and one was in Sept. of 2002 when I purchased a VW Passat. I have always found Stohlman to be competitively prices and the sales and service department always took good care of me. This time,I dealt with Chris La Porte, a Subaru Salesman. He was friendly,knowledgable, and honorable. When he promised something, he delivered. Chris told me he would match any deal I could find and he did. In addition, he gave me at my request a bottle of touch up paint and arranged to have my after market protective side moldings and rear bumper protector installed at no additional charge. Chris was enjoyable to work with and followed through on everything he said he would do and I would recommend him to other customers. He is a little hyperactive and I think a little Ritalin would go a long way in helping him slow down a little but he does get everything done in a short amount of time so that is a good thing and he doesn't seem to forget anything. I would endorse using him as your sales rep. Hesham Kamal, the finance rep. was also a pleasure to work with. He offered me options regarding extended warranties and service agreements but did not to try to push me to buy them. He was also friendly and easy to work with. More

From my first inquiry, I found our sales rep, David Jennings, to be responsive, helpful, and professional - providing all the info I needed to complete a purchase. Stohlman honored the price brokered through my bank's car buying service and I got the exact color and options I wanted on a new WRX. Mr. Kamal in finance was very helpful and provided the warranty package I wanted without any pressure, and the process was friendly from beginning to end. Although I did not trade in my previous vehicle at Stohlman, they were very helpful in offering me options to make sure I received the most value for my previous car. Delivery of my new Subaru went very smoothly and Mr. Jennings did a wonderful job walking me through the features and operation of my new car. He made sure all of my questions were answered and at no point did I feel rushed. I also appreciated the helpfulness of all the staff I encountered during my visits to the dealer - at no point did I have to wait to have questions answered or arrange for a test drive. All in all, I was pleased with my experience at Stohlman and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another car from this dealer. More

They had no problem discussing prices over the phone---but also on the internet, which saved me a ton of time and hassle. All the staff were professional and I felt no pressure at any point for the sale. I also did not get any sense that they were trying to play any games with me or my wife. At the last minute, my wie decided she wanted to get a minivan, so I did not wind up getting a VW, but I would consider this dealer in the future if I had to replace another one of my cars. More

The first time was in 2011 and I worked with Stephan Sagbo for my VW GTI - - Stephan is still at Stohlman's and is now managing sales on the Subaru side. For my Forester purchase I mainly dealt with Boris Alvarado. Overall it was a comfortable, non-threatening, no pressure experience. Boris was polite, courteous, professional, and extremely patient. I probably was not the easiest person to work with - - I was often very demanding and changed my mind a few times. The guy was nothing but patient with me and had a good sense of humor. If you're looking into getting a Subaru, check out Stohlman's. Ask about using the Costco auto buying service if you have a Costco membership. BTW, the first time I went to Stohlman VW for my GTI purchase I was there ALL DAY. Stephan Sagbo and one of the business guys invited me to share their lunch with them. I don't know if they were having some kind of potluck/team lunch or something that day, but I totally appreciated that and haven't forgotten about it! More
