I had been looking for a new/used car for a while. I went to another dealer (Toyota) and drove a vehicle. I had such a bad experience with them. The sales manager emailed me telling me I owed it to myself to get the Toyota. I felt a bit bullied. I had been emailing with Randell Tomblin about a particular Forester I was looking for. I was looking at the turbo model. Randell emailed me that they did have one in stock and to come test drive it. I went even though it wasn't the color I wanted. Randell took me out, was very informative. He answered a my many questions without making me feel dumb for asking. It turned out the turbo was not what I wanted. Randell offered another model of Forester to drive. We went out again for another test drive, again with Randell answering my questions. I bought my Forester that day. Randell made a stressful event very smooth and enjoyable. The Stohlman dealership has been very friendly and helpful. I even got an email when the dealership was closing early due to bad weather and they were sorry to inconvience me. I get follow up phone call or email when I take my vehicle. We completed the sale that afternoon even though it took some time to get through to my insurance company. After the sale, Bob was great about following up. As it happens, we live not far apart. Bob delivered my permanent tags and even installed them on the vehicle! He really went above and beyond. My first service appointment on a Saturday morning also went quickly and easily. By the time we were through, Nana and Papa had gotten into the act and it was quite a production. Stephan just smiled through the whole thing, gave us a great price, and took really good care of us. He walked our son through every gadget, switch and light on the car. He had plenty of customers that day, but made us feel like we were the ones who mattered most.
