Routine Maintenance I recently took my 2015 Outback in for a service call that I had no idea how to remedy. It seems that due to a possible "ice" block, the computer sys I recently took my 2015 Outback in for a service call that I had no idea how to remedy. It seems that due to a possible "ice" block, the computer system faulted, thus making the power windows inoperable. Took the car in and the service technician immediately fixed the problem and stated that there was nothing in the Subaru Manual that would tell the owner how to fix the problem. He stated that even he had to learn the solution by experimenting with different possible remedies. BRAVO to him. It would be nice if the service manual listed possible fixes to computer glitches. The service department personnel, especially Tom and Heather have always been extremely helpful and deserve accolades for the way customers are treated. Accolades to the new facility - modern, clean, easy to get to. More

Service on our 2009 Subaru outback We were sad to see the Herndon Subaru close, being so close and friendly. But the drive from Reston out is still do-able and there was Tom Wimmer and We were sad to see the Herndon Subaru close, being so close and friendly. I searched forums, google reviews, yelp reviews, etc and fi The search for a quality dealership to service my '15 Series.Blue BRZ was not an easy one. I searched forums, google reviews, yelp reviews, etc and finally decided to check out the little place in Herndon. Man, that was the best choice I could have made! Both visits have been fantastic, the most recent being at the new Sterling location. Excellent facilities, clean and well stocked. I helped myself to some hot chocolate since it was a cold, rainy day. I was quoted an hour and a half for a 12K service and tire installation/alignment. It ended up taking about three hours but Jay was extremely communicative and I wasn't left wondering why it was taking so long. He also tried to help another customer with a decision regarding her emissions test, laying out a few different options and offering to see what the wait time at their old station was since it would be about two hours until they could get to her vehicle. That was really nice to see, he was very patient and did his best to help her make the best decision for her. It's very clear that the people who work here(at least from what I've seen in the service dept) enjoy what they do and that makes it a much more enjoyable experience to come in for services. More
