It was quite disappointing that although I had a coupon for a (supposed) free air conditioning service from my new car coupon booklet, the price quoted when I pulled into the dealership ($130) was the same for a (supposed) free air conditioning service from my new car coupon booklet, the price quoted when I pulled into the dealership ($130) was the same as when I called the previous week when I didn't mention a coupon. Later, an "adjustment" was made for $13 off the bill. I don't know what the "free service" on the coupon meant and neither did the service attendant. In my opinion, if something states that it's free, then it should be free, especially when you bought the car there, with warranty packages, etc. On top of that, the mechanics didn't know if there was an AC leak or not, but inserted some sort of dye and I would need to bring the car back in if there's a noticeable change down the road. They didn't mention if I had to pay to come back in (I don't think I should) to get it looked at again. I like the car and previously, the service has been just fine, but it's a long ride to that dealership from West Ashley and while we're a two-Honda family, it needs to be really good service to go out there again. I made an appointment but still waited over a hour before my car was even taken in. That day I was leaving to go out of town and the service department delayed my trip. I was not a walk-in.
