There I was, newly moved to bluffton and contemplating a new car to go with the new crib. The boss was having her car serviced that she had bought from stokes back in 2019, so I was gathering some steps on new car to go with the new crib. I wasn’t pressed or actively car hunting at the time, but after a couple trips down 95, or The devils xxx crack as I like to call it, in my VW gli, I began craving something that I could see over the nerds in front of me that babysit the left lane, as well as come off the ground a little more where my current cars windshield stayed hungry on a consistent diet of every rock and pebble that have ever ended up on a hard surface road. So I give Stokes a call, and let them know I’m not actually in the market to get a new vehicle, but that I just wanted to flirt with Big Red a little. So Stokes links me up with Dan the man Kral, or “Mr. Google”, as I refer to him, because he was everything I’d been searching for. Dan didn’t know he needed a new best friend and I didn’t know I needed a new truck. We were the perfect match. More importantly then that I’d just buy another car from Mr. Google, I’d have a beer with him. Never felt pressured, like a gentleman on a first date, we were just two dudes hanging out. I highly doubt dans any good at Mario kart, but him and the folks at stokes have still been looking out for me and have remained down to earth people even after the car purchase.
